Frank Briegmann

Frank Briegmann is Chairman & CEO of Central Europe & Deutsche Grammophon. He is responsible for Universal Music Group's operations in Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Benelux, the Scandinavian Countries, Eastern Europe and Western Balkans, as well as the Deutsche Grammophon label. Briegmann joined Universal Music Germany in 2004, as the youngest CEO in the history of all German major labels.
Briegmann focused on signing and establishing local artists and led the company to become the leader in the domestic market. He has developed new businesses and continues to reinforce the company's culture of forging close partnerships with its artists.
From 1995 to 2004, Briegmann worked for Bertelsmann Music Group (BMG), where he departed as Senior Vice President International. Briegmann is a board member of the Federal Association of the Music Industry, a member of the advisory board for East of Deutsche Bank, Betterplace.org and member of the board of trustees C/O Berlin.
