If you’ve ever been curious about the dining establishments visited by the agents of Netflix’s hit docusoap Selling Sunset, you’re in for a treat. The Hollywood Reporter has painstakingly made a list of all the show’s restaurants, starting back with season one, all the way up to the newest, season seven, dropped on Nov. 3. (A few places that are missing are the restaurants that didn’t make it through the pandemic and a few mystery locales that don’t give enough clues.)
We all know that Sunset has some of the hottest mansion porn in television and for the past few seasons, the show has also firmly established itself as a fashion voyeur’s obsession. But apart from the lavish real estate, intense outfits, and of course, the agents and the particular brand of drama each of them brings, there’s another thing that has a...

Sitting on a couch post-workout session in his office on the Sunset Strip, L.A. real estate broker Jason Oppenheim tells The Hollywood Reporter exclusively that his popular Netflix reality show Selling Sunset has been renewed for an eighth season and that production will begin soon on the latest installments of the series.
“For me, each season gets more and more fun,” says Oppenheim, who had originally hoped that the show — a bingeable mix of real estate, oft-combative personal dynamics, over-the-top fashion and L.A. nightlife — would run for at least three seasons. “When we were doing season one, we were like, ‘If we can get to season three, we had a real show. Anything above that would be icing.’ We’ve been running on icing for years now.”

“It was heartbreaking to say the least,” she told Today.com. “I was just in shock.”

“Selling Sunset” stars Mary and Romain Bonnet might be sold on Bethenny Frankel’s idea of a reality stars union.
“We’re not protected like everybody else is. Even all of our production team, they are union. They’re like, ‘No, you guys are real estate agents. This is reality. So that’s not your actual job, you’re not an actor,'” Mary told Variety on Friday night at the Pencils of Promise Pre-Gala Charity event. The private fundraiser took place at motivational speaker and philanthropist Natasha Graziano’s home in Bel Air.
“Reality wasn’t a thing. Now it’s a big thing. We have awards shows for it,” Mary said. “It just makes sense, though, because reality has taken over.”

"Selling Sunset" season five unpacks tons of workplace drama, as well as a new office romance. When Jason Oppenheim and Chrishell Stause took their relationship public in July 2021, fans were quick to speculate whether their budding romance would play out in "Selling Sunset" season four. While that wasn't the case, a teaser at the end of the episodes made clear that their relationship would unfold in season five. Then, the pair unexpectedly split - and the question became, how much of the breakup would be captured on camera? The new season is finally here, and damn, did we get answers.

Mary Fitzgerald and her husband, Romain Bonnet, and Brett Oppenheim and his then-girlfriend, Tina Louise, are the only people who are aware of Stause and Jason's secret romance before it's revealed on Instagram.

Much of this inquiry derives from the fact that the creator of the show, Adam Divello, also created "The Hills," an MTV reality show that its stars later revealed was heavily scripted and manipulated behind the scenes.

Set in the world of L.A.’s high-end real estate, “Selling Sunset” follows the city’s most successful realtors who all work under the same roof at The Oppenheim Group, the No. 1 agency in the Hollywood Hills and the Sunset Strip neighborhoods, as Netflix boasts for its hit reality show.
Below are bios for the two newbies, as provided by Netflix.
Villela is a Mexican-American actress, best known for work as Emiliana in “El Señor de los Cielos” and Sara in “Una Maid en Manhattan.” Vanessa’s transition from successful television actress to successful real estate agent was a very personal,...

Netflix has renewed its popular docusoaps “Selling Sunset” and “Bling Empire,” and has ordered two new series from the creators of both shows.
In a blog post on Wednesday morning, Brandon Riegg, the streamer’s vice president of unscripted and documentary series, announced the renewals and series orders. “Selling Sunset” has been renewed for Seasons 4 and 5, while a second season of “Bling Empire,” which premiered in January, has also been ordered.
Both shows follow the lives of the 1% in Los Angeles. “Bling Empire” — from executive producers Jeff Jenkins, Ross Weintraub and Reinout Oerlemans, and showrunner Brandon Panaligan — chronicles the ostentatiously fabulous lives of a clique of Asian and Asian American friends. “Selling Sunset,” created by Adam Divello (“The Hills”) and produced by Lionsgate, follows the high-end realtors at The Oppenheim Group in West Hollywood.

Mary Fitzgerald says there is nothing fake about her love story. Just last month, news broke that the Selling Sunset star and Romain Bonnet actually got married before filming their TV wedding. While fans believed the two tied the knot on Oct. 12, 2019, Mary's rep confirmed that they had a "civil union" the year before. Now, Mary is personally clearing the air once again in a new interview. "Our wedding was absolutely real," Mary shared with Britain's Fubar Radio on Sept. 3. "We invited all of our friends and family. We didn't tell anybody. Selling Sunset fans have watched Mary Fitzgerald and Romain Bonnet's love story unfold ever since the show hit Netflix in March 2019. In the first season, we were introduced to the couple as boyfriend and girlfriend and we followed their journey to getting engaged. In the following season, we witnessed Mary and Romain tie the knot in a gorgeous wedding ceremony at one of Mary's listings - or at least we thought we did, anyway, because it turns out they were already married.
According to documents obtained by TMZ, Mary and Romain actually wed at a Ventura, CA courthouse on March 9, 2018, 19 months before their televised wedding went down in Los Angeles in October 2019. "Mary and Romain had a civil union a couple of months before the show began filming in June of 2018, but they chose not to tell any of their friends or family, as they were still trying to...

Season two of Netflix's Selling Sunset dropped on Friday, and we're already looking forward to more. Thankfully, the streaming giant has confirmed that the third installment will arrive on Aug. 7 to continue diving into the lives of the brokers at The Oppenheim Group in Los Angeles. While the latest collection of episodes focus heavily on the drama surrounding Mary Fitzgerald and Romain Bonnet's wedding planning, it looks like season three will center on Chrishell Stause's split from This Is Us star Justin Hartley.
In a teaser at the end of season two, a tearful Chrishell opens up to Mary about the divorce while their fellow realtors react to the news. "I'm just kind of in shock with it all," Chrishell says. "It's just a lot all at once because the whole world knows. I love him so much. This was my best friend. Who do I talk to now?...

Contrary to in-vogue opinion, producers cannot actually shape every aspect of their reality series. Take “Selling Sunset,” for example. Executive producer Adam Divello was hoping the $40 million home in the Hollywood Hills that was the focus of Season 1 would finish its build by the finale.
It did not.
“We only have so long of a production window and there are only so many homes they are going to sell in those months that we’re shooting,” Divello told TheWrap ahead of his show’s Season 2 premiere on Netflix. “So the $40 million home, perfect example. Would I have loved to show in the first season the completion of that and the sale of that home? Of course, we were all hoping that was going to happen, but it didn’t. And so now we are fortunate enough to get a second season, so we pick right back up with that house.

Netflix’s “Selling Sunset” has been renewed for a third season, which is set to premiere on Aug. 7, 2020. Season 3 will also consist of eight episodes.
Season 2 of the reality series debuted at midnight on Friday. At the end of the eight episodes, a teaser of future footage runs. The footage, in which the women learn that Chrishell Stause’s husband Justin Hartley (“This Is Us”) has filed for divorce, also depicts Christine Quinn’s wedding and what appears to be the sale of that $40 million new-build house the real estate agents of The Oppenheim Group have all been competing over.
TheWrap has learned that the footage is from future “Selling Sunset” episodes commissioned by Netflix and that the streaming service is considering the summer block to be Season 3. Netflix will occasionally break up a show’s season into two parts, but this next batch of episodes had yet to be announced or reported,...
