At the end of last week’s episode, we sadly learnt that former Mrs Continental, Naysha Lopez, would sadly be leaving the competition after Jimbo tried (and failed) to get her revenge on her from Drag Race UK vs The World with the returning lip-sync assassin Pangina Heels! After what can only be described as a fairly one-sided battle, it was revealed that the group had decided that it was Natasha’s time to leave which meant that the other bottom queen Kahana Montrese would get another chance this season. It was when the actual votes were revealed however that we saw our first glimpses of drama from this season of returning queens after Jessica explained that the reason she voted for Kahana to home was that she couldn’t vote for Naysha as they are both from Puerto Rico. While I understand that this is a natural connection between...

I have to admit that going into the opening episode of this season of Ru Paul’s Drag Race All-Stars I was quite surprised by the selection of queens asked to return to the werk-room. Don’t get me wrong every single one of the queens are extremely talented but some of these were not obvious choices or necessarily queens I would invite if I was in charge of casting. Unlike previous seasons there are not a lot of queens who have made it to the top four/three on their original seasons in fact there are quite a few queens in this iteration of all-stars who were eliminated first!
The first queen returning to our screens is the blessed and highly-favoured, gap-tooth icon Heidi N Closet from season twelve. This fan-favourite queen has been extremely busy recently with her podcast Hall and Closet (with co-star and season twelve winner...

Each week on “The Pit Stop,” Bianca Del Rio recaps the latest episode of “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars” season 8 alongside a guest host. Following Friday’s premiere episode, All Stars 2 winner and former “Pit Stop” host Alaska returns to dish the opening moments of the new season. Watch the full episode above via the official RuPaul’s Drag Race channel on YouTube.
In their recap of episode 1, Bianca and Alaska started by critiquing the opening look choices that the queens made. Alaska was confused why Naysha Lopez put on a prison jumpsuit, favoring more the queens that extended their known brand in their looks, like Kahanna Montrese and Heidi N Closet. Alaska’s personal favorite though was Jaymes Mansfield‘s and Bianca preferred Jimbo for being different and fun. Then, for the “Famous Then” and “Famous Now” runway mini challenge, Alaska and Bianca both liked Alexis Michelle‘s looks most.

The second episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 8 presented the queens with a comedy challenge, but the lip sync that followed was no laughing matter.
In fact, very little about this episode was a laughing matter. Acting challenges in this franchise are extremely hit or miss, and this Saturday Night Live-inspired sketch comedy show was a miss for me. Not only did the jokes forget to RSVP to the script, but one sketch basically tricked us into watching a commercial for Michelle Visage’s book. That’s not the kind of reading I want from Drag Race,...

In May, Paramount+ is will be the streaming home for a host of new titles, including the well-timed documentary “King Charles: The Boy Who Walked Alone.” Utilizing original footage and interviews with staffers and friends, this CBS News film provides an insider’s look at England’s newest ruler. Bullied by his father and the child of an unemotional mother, Charles grew up isolated from his parents, the product of, in the words of one friend, “a spectacularly dysfunctional family.” A behind-the-scenes look at his marriage to Princess Diana and his future as the British sovereign are explored on May 2, just days before his official coronation.

For the first time in Drag Race herstory, RuPaul is giving viewers the power to crown their own queen.
Paramount+ on Thursday announced a game-changing new rule for All Stars 8: During Untucked and online, the season’s eliminated queens will Ru-veal their runway looks in the hopes of earning fans’ votes. In addition to the $200,000 winner of All Stars, chosen by Ru, the show will also crown a “Queen of the Fame Games,” who will earn a not-too-shabby $50,000 based on how viewers vote throughout the season.

RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 15 queen Mistress Isabelle Brooks brings charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent to every episode. However, she isn’t afraid to have a good time and not to take the competition too seriously. Machete actor Danny Trejo made a surprise guest appearance on a RuPaul’s Drag Race acting challenge, and Mistress didn’t take the moment for granted.

Network television has no shortage of crime shows. From “CSI” to “NCIS” and “Law & Order,” procedurals have dominated the TV landscape for quite some time, with a focus on the prosecutors and cops at the center of every show.
Fox’s new series “Accused,” from “Homeland” producer Howard Gordon, is hoping to change that. The anthology series, which premiered on Jan. 22, features the story of a different defendant every episode, with a new director at the helm every time. Each episode begins with a defendant on trial, and spends the rest of its time telling that person’s story, with little focus on the prosecution.
At the Abbey Food & Bar in West Hollywood on Monday night, guests celebrated an upcoming episode that marks Billy Porter’s television directing debut.T he episode stars J. Harrison Ghee (currently starring in “Some Like it Hot” on Broadway) as a drag queen...

Each week on “The Pit Stop,” Bob the Drag Queen runs down the crowning achievements of the all winners on the newest episode of “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars” alongside a guest host. Following Friday’s seventh episode, Bob was joined by season 14 champion Willow Pill to get to the bottom of Monét X Change‘s belief that Willow was a “master strategist.” Watch the full episode above via the official RuPaul’s Drag Race channel on YouTube.
Ahead of their recap and review, Willow admitted to Bob that while filming she didn’t have the intent of strategizing, but watching the show back she sees how people can think that. She even described a moment during filming where the other girls asked her if she knew the lyrics to a lip sync song and she said “no” despite having performed it herself before. Then, as a member of Yvie Oddly‘s drag family,...

Following Friday’s sixth episode, Bob brought in her season 8 co-star and “RuPaul’s Drag Race Live!” performer Derrick Barry to break down the impact the “charity stars” will have on the game. Watch the full episode above via the official RuPaul’s Drag Race channel on YouTube.
In their recap and review, they analyze Raja and Jinkx Monsoon‘s decisions to give the charity stars to Yvie Oddly and Jaida Essence Hall. Bob was quick to say that it’s clearly strategy to give one to Yvie, but that they should have kept in mind that Yvie is probably the last one they should want to go against in the Lip Sync Lalaparuza at the end. Blues-rock guitarist G.E. Smith and R&b singer-songwriter LeRoy Bell have a rock & roll day at the beach in the video for their new single “Let the Sunshine in.”
Directed by Fabian Rodriguez, the visual features Smith and Bell jamming on their guitars while lounging around and exploring the sandy beach dunes of Long Island. Lyrically, Bell appeals for understanding, unity and an end to divisiveness: “But you can’t find it in your heart/To change your point of view/You figure you’re above it all/You convince yourself it’s true.

Which team are you on for RuPaul's Drag Race's finale next week? I'm so curious because for the first time I'd be happy with nearly any outcome. I suspect Kim Chi will take the crown as Bob or Naomi might too closely recall the last two winners under Clown and Fashion wings of drag respectively, and Kim Chi is a new direction.
It's always strange during the season when they take that week off before the finale. Monday rolls around and... no queens. [Scene from Nathaniel's House: "Life is empty," he cried dramatically while turning off the TV last night. And... scene.] Though Season 8 started strong and only crashed in the middle with the Snatch Game before returning to glory, we're left with (gasp) the strongest top three ever. If you'll allow a little "it's all about Me" moment, this is the only time in Drag Race herstory where my three favorite contestants all made the finals. That's like having, I don't know, your two favorite films of...
