- In 2015 fans produced a Dutch translation of the theme song to the television series Power Rangers Dino Charge with singer Herman van Doorn, because the theme songs of the long running series have last been translated to the Dutch language many years ago. Dutch broadcaster RTL declined the recording however for unknown reasons.
- For the theme songs Herman has performed for television most of the music was provided by John Siegler in cooperation with David Kos Rolfe and John Loeffler.

- The songs Herman performs for Pokémon are not only aired in the Netherlands but also other countries that have the Dutch language as their language, for example the Flanders region in Belgium.
- Background singer for the Dutch version of the CD album "Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension". (2011)
- Was active as background singer on the albums "Lief" (1997) by Paul de Leeuw and "De Horizon Voorbij" (2000) by Bazz.
- Seasons of the television series "Pokémon" in which Herman van Doorn sings the Dutch theme song are usually guaranteed for success. In 2007 the ratings for new episodes increased and also in 2014 the ratings for new episodes increased, both times Herman van Doorn had returned as theme song singer. When the 8th season was shown in reruns in 2014, there were also peaks in the ratings.
- In 1989 Herman's group Voicelab was finalist in the National Close Harmony Competition.
