Actors Jamie Lee Curtis and Christopher Guest’s romance spans over four decades, beginning with Curtis revealing that it was love at first sight.
“I met my husband by seeing his picture in a magazine and saying out loud to a friend of mine, ‘I’m going to marry that dude,’ and married him … months later,” Curtis shared on Today in 2021. “So the truth of the matter is life hinged for me on a couple seconds that I didn’t see coming.”
Curtis ended up meeting Guest through a chance meeting in 1984. Initially, a friend gave Curtis Guest’s agent’s phone number. She called him but he never returned her call. But it was Kismet when she bumped into him at a restaurant.
When Jamie Lee Curtis met Christopher Guest …
Curtis recalled that initial meeting with Guest. “He was sitting about 10 feet away and he looked at me and kind of nodded.

Jamie Lee Curtis, aka the queen of "Halloween," has a lifetime of amazing accolades under her belt. The 64-year-old is an acclaimed film and television actor, author, and activist, and has her latest part in Disney's "Haunted Mansion" remake. But perhaps her most beloved role is being a mom to her two daughters, Annie and Ruby Guest, whom she shares with husband Christopher Guest.
Curtis's journey into motherhood started when she experienced infertility problems shortly after she married Christopher in 1984. "Adoption was the only way for us to have a family. . . . It becomes the viable option for you. If you want to be a family, that's how you're going to be it," she previously told Pact's Point of View Newsletter. Together, Curtis and Christopher decided to go the route of adoption to start their family, welcoming their daughter Annie in 1986. Ten years after Annie's arrival, Curtis adopted her second child,...

In honor of the Trans Day of Visibility on March 31, Jamie Lee Curtis honored her daughter Ruby Guest with a special tribute post on Instagram. The "Freaky Friday" actor posted a photo of her and Ruby smiling as she tilted her daughter's chin up alongside a caption praising the 27-year-old.
"Love is love. A mother's love knows no judgment," Curtis wrote. "As a mother, I stand in total solidarity with my children as they move forward in the universe as their authentic selves with their own minds and bodies and ideas. On this trans visibility day my daughter and I are visible."
This isn't the first time Curtis has shown her support for Guest. The "Halloween" actor then revealed she would be using they/them pronouns in honor of her daughter.
