Rapper/actor Scott “Kid Cudi” Mescudi can currently be seen on the big screen in the latest John Woo action film Silent Night, and now Deadline has reported that Mescudi has lined up his next acting project: he will be starring in and producing the animated monster movie Slime.
Slime will mark the feature directorial debut of animator / Baby Demon creator Jeron Braxton, who’s working from a screenplay written by The Boondocks‘ Brian Ash. The project is said to be “a classic monster movie decked out in fashion-forward video game skins that are wickedly satirical, scary as hell and trippy Af.” With this movie, Braxton is aiming to “build a sonic/visual experience that marries his distinct style with a trippy, elevating original soundtrack.”
