Jian Zou graduated from the School of Journalism and Communication at Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2004. In the same year, they were admitted to the Graduate School of Journalism and Communications at Florida State University in the United States. With over 10 years of extensive work experience in the Chinese mainland media and entertainment industry, Jian previously held positions as the Content Director for the video channel and Senior Editor/Reporter for the entertainment channel at the Chinese news portal website Sina.
Due to outstanding English interviewing skills, Jian has consistently reported on major international entertainment events, including the Cannes Film Festival, Venice Film Festival, Berlin International Film Festival, Golden Globe Awards, San Diego Comic-Con, MTV Asia Music Awards, and more.
After transitioning to a different role from the media, Jian embarked on a decade-long collaboration with Chinese A-list actor Tong Dawei. Jian served as the Vice General Manager of Tong Dawei's company, overseeing the overall management of artists, public relations, and marketing. Jian was deeply involved in significant film projects such as "The Flowers of War," "American Dreams in China," "The Crossing," as well as TV dramas like "Tiger Mom and Cat Dad," "If I Can Love You So," and "Love Actually."
