Filmmaking collective Radio Silence says a script for Ready Or Not 2 has been written, and that it’s “an absolute f—ing banger.”
Confirming an earlier rumour that a sequel to 2019’s Ready Or Not is in development, the filmmakers collectively known as Radio Silence have said that a script has already been written. They also add that the screenplay is rather good – or a “an absolute f—ing banger of a sequel,” to quote one of them directly.
We’re guessing the censored bit was ‘flaming’ or perhaps ‘flipping’.
“It’s getting figured out,” co-director Tyler Gillett told Entertainment Weekly when asked about the sequel’s status. “That’s what we’ll say: Ready Or Not 2 is getting figured out. What we can say is that there is a script that is an absolute [flipping] banger of a sequel. And however it gets made, and in whatever capacity we are helping get it made,...

‘Ready or Not’: Radio Silence Filmmakers Tease the “Absolute Banger” of a Sequel That’s Taking Shape
It was first reported a couple weeks ago that Ready or Not 2 is now in development, with Adam Robitel (The Taking of Deborah Logan, Insidious: The Last Key, Escape Room, Escape Room: Tournament of Champions) in talks to direct the sequel to the 2019 box office hit. Additionally, we had learned that Samara Weaving would be returning to star.
Entertainment Weekly caught up with Ready or Not directors Tyler Gillett and Matt Bettinelli-Olpin in the wake of those reports, and we’ve now got an update straight from the source.
“It’s getting figured out. That’s what we’ll say: Ready or Not 2 is getting figured out,” Gillett tells EW, confirming last month’s report. “What we can say is that there is a script that is an absolute fucking banger of a sequel. And however it gets made, and in whatever capacity we are helping get it made, we...

You might often feel like you’re already living through an apocalyptic nightmare, but I assure you that E.L. Katz’s new culty survival horror Azrael is way weirder and more wild than anything you’re doomscrolling through late at night. Written by Simon Barrett, and starring genre badass Samara Weaving (Ready or Not), Azrael is a blood-soaked and buck wild revenge tale set in a fractured world. It’s got everything you could ask for in a post-apocalyptic horror flick. It’s got cults, it’s got shotguns, it’s got seething anger, and (best of all) it’s got weird hellscape creatures lurking in the forest that rip people to shreds...

It was celebration time for Saif Ali Khan and Kareena on Wednesday as they got together with family for the third birthday of their younger son Jeh. The birthday celebrations video shows Kareena aka Bebo wearing a yellow T-shirt paired with a green summer coat and blue denims. For makeup, she opted for nude lips, blushed cheeks, and kohl eyes, while keeping her hair straight. The look was rounded off with a black handbag, gold hoop earrings, and white sneakers.
Saif arrived looking casual – a grey half-sleeved kurta and white pajama. He completed the look with brown shoes.
Tamiur, Jeh’s elder brother, showed up with his school friends. The little ones were all dressed in their school uniform.
Jeh arrived separately with his nannies. He was cutely dressed in a white shirt, a black sweater and blue denims. The look of the birthday boy was completed with white sneakers.

The PG-13 rating, at least for horror, often induces derision or skepticism, like an instant shackle on the horror. A PG-13 rating broadcasts straightaway not to expect any excessive gore, violence, or any of the explicit fun stuff that tends to be horror’s bread and butter. But those things aren’t synonymous with horror’s true aim, which is to scare you silly.
Luckily, PG-13 horror has proven time and time again throughout the decades that it’s more than capable of inducing chills. Especially when it comes to the supernatural.
This week’s streaming picks are dedicated to PG-13 horror movies that bring the terror through ghostly jump scares, ominous atmosphere, and more. That the PG-13 rating means they also double as potential gateway horror for the budding monster kid is a bonus.
Here’s where you can stream them this week.

Consider the career of one Joseph McGinty Nichol, better known by the nom de plume McG. This is a man whose directorial debut as a feature filmmaker in 2000 was the paradigm-shifting, zeitgeist-grabbing, new millennium bar-setter "Charlie's Angels." Sit with that for a moment. His next film? The extraordinary sequel "Full Throttle." Mind you these were gigs that star and producer Drew Barrymore personally sought out McG for based on the music videos he made for the band Sugar Ray. One of the more significant sliding doors moments in modern American history is the fact that McG was the original frontman for the band that would become Sugar Ray, before humbly realizing his talents lay elsewhere and convincing high school buddy Mark McGrath to take over.
McG helped launch and executive produce both "The Oc" and "Supernatural," he produced "Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search for the Next Doll" and "Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious,...

Director Joe Lynch’s (Wrong Turn 2, Mayhem, “Creepshow”) new movie Suitable Flesh, based on H.P. Lovecraft’s The Thing On The Doorstep, is poised to unleash body-swapping horror this Halloween weekend.
Suitable Flesh is bringing Lovecraftian madness to theaters and VOD on October 27, 2023, and the film will later be hitting Shudder for exclusive streaming in January 2024.
In Suitable Flesh, “After murdering her young patient, a once-esteemed psychiatrist helplessly watches her life spiral into a nightmarish maelstrom of supernatural hysteria and gruesome deaths, all linked to a seemingly unstoppable ancient curse.”
The film stars Barbara Crampton, Heather Graham, Judah Lewis, Bruce Davison, Johnathon Schaech, and Jonah Ray.
Dennis Paoli, the writer of Re-Animator and From Beyond, wrote the script.
Bloody Disgusting previously spoke with Joe Lynch at Tribeca, where he teased the Lovecraft connections for Gordon’s fans and the advice Brian Yuzna gave him when making the film.

Actress Bonnie Morgan shared some ugly truths on the podast “Pod Meets World.”
Early in her career, she was signed to play lead character Topanga Lawrence on the show “Boys Meets World.” She talked with podcast hosts and show cast members Danielle Fishel, Rider Strong and Will Friedle about her experience on the show and how she felt when she was fired.
“I had three callbacks,” she said. “They kept bringing me back, and … it was rooms full of people every time. And, weirdly, every time I’d audition, we’d talk a lot. Every time I’d come back, the script would change slightly, it seemed, to things we had talked about.”
Morgan felt the role was deeply connected to her. Even the name Topanga “was out of my parents’ love history,” noting they “got married in Topanga Canyon. It was the coolest thing ever.”
But things were not...

In the journey to reach professional success in Hollywood, people of color are often forced to conform to whiteness and navigate racial inequities created by white power structures. For Bipoc and Aapi TV writers, being “palatable” to white people and/or whiteness is required of them.
“I don’t think there are enough people of color making decisions,” “iCarly” and “Love, Victor” writer Nasser Samara said during TheWrap’s recent Writers Guild Association strike roundtable. “We’ve made it in our careers, but it comes with the acknowledgement that I had to be palatable to white people at some point to get this job, to get this opportunity to get ahead. We all had to pass the white bar.”
