- Brooke Camhi grew up in Lynbrook, New York. Her mother was a special education teacher before changing careers and working with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and her father is an civil litigation attorney. Brooke attended Syracuse University where she majored in musical theater before changing majors to political science. She attended St. John's University School of Law and graduated in 2005. She then joined the District Attorney's office where she prosecuted criminal matters for two years before leaving and ultimately starting her own law firm in 2009, with a long time friend.
