Netflix has debuted the trailer for the series based on the best-selling book series By Holly Smale, ‘Geek Girl’.
The show tells the story of awkward teenager Harriet Manners whose life is turned upside down when she is spotted to be a model and embarks on a life-affirming journey of self-discovery as she balances high school and high fashion.
The coming-of-age series follows sixteen-year-old Harriet Manners, who has spent her life trying to be invisible, to blend in seamlessly, but there’s no denying, she’s a geek. Her whole world changes after she catches the eye of a modelling agent while on a school trip to London Fashion Week. Tightly wound agents, reclusive designers, impossibly high heels, and a handsome young supermodel with a great smile — socially awkward Harriet has no idea what she’s in for.

The stars of time-travel romance Outlander, Caitríona Balfe and Sam Heughan, have been friends for a decade, since the global hit started shooting in 2013. But no matter how dire it gets (and it does!) for their characters, 20th-century surgeon Claire Fraser and her Scottish Highlander husband, Jamie, the actors’ easy rapport keeps them laughing. You can see the evidence in the shot (above) on the set in Scotland during production of the new season. These lighthearted glimpses behind the scenes barely hint at Season 7’s tumultuous events, which are drawn from An Echo in the Bone, the seventh novel in Diana Gabaldon’s bestselling series on which the show is based. “It’s really epic, expansive. We’ve opened the world out an awful lot,” Balfe says of the 16 episodes (which will run in two blocks of eight). “There are amazing characters, new and old. This is the best...

“Outlander,” Starz’s breakout sci-fi drama, is set to return in the summer of 2023 for its long-awaited seventh season, effectively ending what fans have referred to as Droughtlander.
Starz announced the news Friday morning with a brand-new teaser trailer, which you can watch below. You’re swooning, aren’t you?
If for some reason you’ve missed the “Outlander” boat, it was developed by Ronald D. Moore from the book series by Diana Gabaldon and has been on Starz for a whopping 75 episodes. Liberally mixing romance, science fiction and historical drama elements into an infectious, incredibly horny stew, it follows Caitríona Balfe as Claire Randall, who in post-World War II Scotland is magically whisked away to 1743. There, she takes up a romance with a hunky Highland warrior named Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan). From there, she gets involved in the Jacobite rising, some pretty weird sex and even more time travel shenanigans.

A special gift has arrived for “Outlander” fans ahead of Christmas Day — a first look at the upcoming season, which will premiere next summer.
Jamie Fraser, played by Sam Heughan, can be heard at the start of the trailer speaking to Claire (Caitriona Balfe), detailing a dream in which he saw her surrounded by light. “There was light all around you. But it wasn’t candlelight nor firelight,” he tells her. “I thought that must be what electric light is like.”
Amid a plethora of clips of the dramatic season to come — including the fated Fraser’s Ridge fire that prompted Brianna (Sophie Skelton) to travel to the past, the Declaration of Independence being posted, a somber funeral procession taking place, Brianna giving birth, and most shocking of all, Claire facing a hanging — Jamie is asked by Claire how he can recognize something he has never seen in real life.

This Outlander review contains spoilers.
Outlander Season 5, Episode 6
“Better to Marry Than To Burn” marks the halfway point of Outlander Season 5 with an extended episode. Claire and Jamie attend the festivities before Jocasta’s wedding to Duncan Innes at River Run, but their problems with Governor Tryon and Stephen Bonnet follow them. Meanwhile, Roger and Bree have to fight off a plague of cicadas threatening the crops on Frasier’s Ridge.
While this episode scores well with tying together the biggest plot lines this season, it fails miserably when it comes to addressing previous critiques of the use of sexual assault and rape tropes on Outlander.
The episode begins with a dramatic flashback to Jocasta and her first husband Hector Cameron fleeing the Highlands after Culloden. Non-readers likely had questions about her past, so this was a good place for the script to answer questions. Dragoons found the secret stash...
