From the cover alone I could tell that subtlety isn’t going to be a word associated with this book. The cover positively screams in your face. Death, destruction, anarchy, as a whole bunch of DC A-lister’s scream in pain. As a reader I’m torn between being intrigued and with hoping it’s not just a whole bunch of character deaths for no reason other than selling a few books. The fact that Joshua Williamson is writing is always, of course, a cause for celebration. He has shown he can juggle multiple characters and multiple storylines with ease, and deliver some outstanding stuff.
Let’s take a look.
We start with a lot of DC characters being teleported from where ever they are in the world, and turning up in The House of Heroes,...

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is about to return for its seventh and final season, but before it goes, it has some business to wrap up. Namely, its ties to the wider McU. Back in the day, AoS was closely connected to the events of the movies, with season 1 memorably dealing with the fallout of Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Over the years, though, it’s gone down its own path. Season 6, for instance, completely avoided dealing with The Snap of Avengers: Infinity War/Endgame.
Seeing as Coulson and the team are heading back into the past in season 7, you might have expected this year to follow suit and skip over The Blip. However, someone who works on the show has dropped a major tease that it will link up with Infinity War/Endgame before it ends. Back in March, VFX supervisor Mark Kolpack responded to a fan on Twitter who was...

Fans have been waiting to see the Green Lantern Corps in the Dceu for years now, ever since the 2011 movie starring Ryan Reynolds flopped and a more impressive reboot was promised to be on the way. A brief cameo in Justice League teased that the wielders of the power rings are arriving soon, though, and now our sources are pointing to a major event coming to the big screen that might just make the wait worthwhile.
We Got This Covered has been told that Warner Bros. wants to adapt Blackest Night in the Dceu. Running from 2009-10, the Geoff Johns-headed storyline was a massive crossover event that saw the DC universe come under threat from a horde of zombie heroes, corrupted by Black Hand and his Black Lantern Corps.
We haven’t heard exactly how WB is planning on making use of the arc, so that’s up to...

Avalanche Studios’ “Just Cause 4” just introduced a gameplay trailer awash with footage of protagonist Rico Rodriguez squaring off against a damaging tornado.
As it turns out, there was a slew of other information in the same clip, as the official “Just Cause 4” team breaks down in a new clip. Rodriguez will be engaging in quite a bit of reckless behavior as he explores the open world game armed with a grappling hook and a sense of adventure.
In one scene, Rico flies toward a bridge called El Abismo, which was inspired by the real-life “shantytowns” of South America. It’s another example of Rico’s extremely useful grappling hook and just one of the many situations it can be used in.
The trailer also showed off some of the airlift tethering systems, with Rico taking a shipping container and raising it into the air as an interesting vehicle of sorts,...
