Sam Raimi’s ‘Spider-Man’ trilogy still remains one of the most iconic comic book movie trilogies of all time, since it introduced a plethora of villains long before MCU was a thing. One of those villains was Molina’s Doc Ock.
Molina portrayed the character’s arc flawlessly, transitioning from a brilliant scientist to a mind-controlled villain and ultimately becoming a genuine hero. Molina excelled in both emotional and action-packed scenes, adding depth to the character of Doc Ock and making him one of Spider-Man’s most compelling movie villains.
Now in his recent interview with Vanity Fair, Molina revealed that he was surprised he was asked to reprise his role. He was a bit worried however due to his advanced age, but Pascal and Watts reassured him they had the technology to “fix it.”
“Coming back 17 years later to play the character again, no one was more surprised than me.

The MCU has a lineup of upcoming movies, despite Marvel Studios facing challenges with recent projects. There’s been discussion about reducing the number of releases, as fans are growing weary of lower-quality shows and movies. However, Spider-Man continues to be a major draw, consistently delivering profits for Marvel, regardless of the medium.
In the MCU specifically, Spider-Man has had three standalone movies, with a fourth one in the works. This was confirmed months ago by producer Amy Pascal. The sequel’s development was paused during the WGA Strike but has since resumed. In this guide, we’ll summarize everything we know about the upcoming Spider-Man movie.
The plot could either explore the Multiverse or take a street-level direction
‘Spider-Man 3’ introduced the Multiversal theme that the rest of the franchise is now exploring, and although the movie was well-received, there’s been speculation that Feige has different plans for the upcoming installment.

MCU has quite a slate of movies coming up, even though Marvel Studios has hit a rough patch with the last couple of projects. There have been talks about releasing fewer projects, as fans are definitely becoming tired of shows and movies of lower quality; still, if one character always managed to drag people to movies, it’s Spider-Man, by far the most profitable Marvel franchise, no matter the product you’re looking at.

Over the past couple of decades, the Rolling Stones have looked for any reason to hit the road besides the release of a new album of original songs. They’ve launched tours celebrating their 50th anniversary, reissues of select archival records, the 2016 covers LP Blue & Lonesome, and their 60th anniversary. Some years they headed out on the stadium circuit for no particular reason whatsoever, knowing a Stones tour is a major event in and of itself.
But after a nearly two-year break from touring, the Stones emerged last year with the shockingly great Hackney Diamonds.

Truman Capote wanted to title the book he was working on until his death, Answered Prayers — as in: “More tears are shed over answered prayers than unanswered ones” — and the trailer for the miniseries Feud: Capote Vs. the Swans shows just how true that is. The series, which premieres on FX and Hulu at 10 p.m. on Jan. 31, will trace how Capote, played by Tom Hollander, became a social pariah by writing about his New York socialite friends in the few chapters of Answered Prayers that actually made it into the public.

Feud is finally returning, and FX has dropped a first look at the long-awaited, star-studded second season of Ryan Murphy’s anthology series.

Now, nearly seven years later, arrives the highly anticipated season two, Capote vs. the Swans, an eight-episode limited series set in the 1970s and based on Laurence Leamer’s best-selling book Capote’s Women: A True Story of Love, Betrayal, and a Swan Song for an Era that focuses on writer Truman Capote and the elite New York women he surrounded himself with, nicknamed “the swans.”

Ryan Murphy’s “Feud: Capote Vs. The Swans” shatters the social hierarchy of 1960s elite New York, one betrayal at a time.
Season 2 of the anthology series centers on acclaimed writer Truman Capote (Tom Hollander), once a confidante to society’s most elite women, whom he nicknamed “the swans.” However, his act of betrayal effectively destroyed those relationships, banished him from high society and sent him into a spiral of self-destruction from which he would ultimately never recover.
Per the official synopsis, “Enchanted and captivated by these doyennes, Capote ingratiated himself into their lives, befriending them and becoming their confidante, only to ultimately betray them by writing a thinly veiled fictionalization of their lives, exposing their most intimate secrets. When an excerpt from the book, Answered Prayers, Capote’s planned magnum opus, was published in Esquire, it effectively destroyed his relationship with his swans, banished him from the high society...

FF9 Pictures is hit with an £800,000 fine over ‘life-changing’ injuries to stunt performer Joe Watts on the set of Fast & Furious 9. More here.
The safety of stunt performers has been thrown back into the limelight following a ruling in a UK court over the film Fast & Furious 9.
A sequence for the film that was shot at Warner Bros Studios Leavesden in the UK left stunt performer Joe Watts with brain damage. Watts was involved in a stunt where reportedly his safety line became detached as he was being thrown over someone’s shoulder. This took place back in July of 2019.
Watts then fell eight metres onto concrete, head first, breaking his skull as a result of the accident. It had been a rehearsed stunt, albeit one that changed slightly – and with horrible consequences – when it came to the shoot itself. Watts fall was such that he missed the crash mats,...

Updated to clarify entity that was fined: The UK production entity behind 2021’s Fast & Furious 9: The Fast Saga has been fined £800,000 ($1 million) after one of its stuntmen suffered brain damage after a fall during production.
Joe Watts suffered a broken skull after falling eight metres onto concrete and landing on his head, in an accident during the filming of Fast 9 at Warner Bros’ studios in Hertfordshire, UK, in July 2019.
The BBC reports that a judge considered Watts “lucky to be alive,” after hearing that his safety line became detached during a stunt that was rehearsed but changed during filming. The court heard that the safety line was not checked between takes. District Judge Talwinder Buttar, sitting at Luton Magistrates Court, criticized the decision to alter the stunt “at the last minute,” adding that the matting underneath should also have been adjusted.

It might or might not be true, as Nick Broomfield declares in his new feature documentary, that “most people today” haven’t heard of Brian Jones. In the weeks before the release of The Stones and Brian Jones, Nick Broomfield’s documentary about the first casualty of the Rolling Stones’ rise to prominence, the band released its 24th (in the UK; 26th in the US) studio album. And as part of the release of Hackney Diamonds, the band’s first studio release in seven years, the Stones’ PR machine went into overdrive. Mick Jagger and Keith Richard made the rounds and, among other topics, often touched on the death of longtime drummer Charlie Watts and its impact on the band. These interviews have tended to be fascinating affairs; such is the state of things when members of rock royalty hit the promotion trail.
One name that was barely mentioned is Brian Jones. That is not altogether surprising; even though Jones was the band’s founder and its first leader, he died more than 50 years ago. But...

The band, which is currently comprised of Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood after Charlie Watts died in 2021, scored their first top 10 album on the Billboard 200 chart in 1964 with 12 x 5. In total, The Stones claimed 13 top 10 albums in the ’60s, 12 in the ‘70s, six in the ‘80s, three in the ‘90s, two in the 2000s, one in the 2010s and now one in the 2020s.
Hackney Diamonds also extended the rock band’s record as the artist with the most top 10 albums of all time, with a total of 38. Barbra Streisand follows with 34, while The Beatles and Frank Sinatra are tied for third, with 32 each.

Jon Watts, director of Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far from Home, and Spider-Man: No Way Home, is producing the sixth film in the Final Destination franchise with Dianne McGunigle, Sheila Hanahan Taylor, and Craig Perry – and entertainment industry scooper Daniel Richtman just revealed the plot synopsis for the new film, along with some character descriptions and the title, which isn’t going to be Final Destination 6. This one is going by the title Final Destination: Bloodlines, which is kind of bummer because Bloodlines is a very over-used subtitle in the horror world. To name just a few, we’ve previously gotten Wrong Turn 5: Bloodlines, Tremors 5: Bloodlines, and Pet Sematary: Bloodlines.
But there is good reason for the Bloodlines subtitle, because family bloodlines are important to the story. Jeffrey Reddick – who wrote the initial screenplay for the original Final Destination and contributed to Final Destination 2 – has previously said that...

The MCU has a lineup of upcoming movies despite recent challenges faced by Marvel Studios in both past and anticipated projects, such as ‘The Marvels,’ which is expected to have a lower projected Box Office. However, Spider-Man, the most profitable Marvel franchise, has consistently drawn audiences to theaters.
Within the MCU, Spider-Man already boasts three standalone films, with a fourth in the works. The sequel’s director, Jon Watts, who has directed three successful Spider-Man films, briefly stepped away from superhero filmmaking but is now slated to return for the upcoming installment after withdrawing from the ‘Fantastic Four’ project. Watts was also set to contribute to the development of the sixth ‘Final Destination’ movie and served as an executive producer for the Star Wars-inspired series titled ‘Skeleton Crew.’

MCU has quite a slate of movies coming up even though Marvel Studios has hit a rough patch with the last couple of projects and the upcoming ones, like ‘The Marvels’, expecting a low projected Box Office. Still, if one character always managed to drag people to movies, it’s Spider-Man, by far the most profitable Marvel franchise, no matter the product you’re looking at.
So far, talking about the MCU specifically, Spider-Man has three standalone movies and a fourth on the way. This was confirmed several months ago by the producer Amy Pascal, who confirmed that the work on the sequel has been ongoing but stopped due to the solidarity with the at the time ongoing WGA Strike.
Now, according to Tom Smith, Jon Watts should return to direct the movie, having already three ‘Spider-Man’ installments under his belt. Watts, having directed three Spider-Man films and achieved substantial box office success,...

The Rolling Stones are finally ready to announce the new album they’ve been teasing for years. According to social media posts from the band, more information about the record — which appears to be titled Hackney Diamonds — will be announced on September 6th. In anticipation, a brief snippet of a song called “Angry” is available online now.
“A new Stones era Worldwide September 6th,” The Rolling Stones tweeted this week. The post links to a Hackney Diamonds website, which doesn’t offer much besides a countdown to September 6th and an invitation to join their mailing list.
Meanwhile, another recent tweet links to dontgetangrywithme.com, which houses a 16-second clip of a new song called “Angry.” That is, if you can get the website to work. As Louder Sound points out, the website has had some trouble loading the teaser. Often times, after several minutes of preparing the clip, it...

Twelve years have gone by since the last time a new Final Destination movie was released – which is way too long without a new entry in an awesome franchise that had a nice “one every three years” pattern going on for a while. Thankfully, Final Destination 6 is in the works. Last September, it was announced that the film will be directed by the duo of Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein, who previously directed the 2018 film Freaks (starring Emile Hirsch and Bruce Dern) and the 2019 live-action Kim Possible movie. Now it has come to our attention that Final Destination franchise producer Craig Perry has teased that a standout death sequence in the film will be set in a tattoo / piercing parlor!
Jon Watts, director of Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far from Home, and Spider-Man: No Way Home, is producing Final Destination 6 with Dianne McGunigle, Sheila Hanahan Taylor, and Perry.

Keith Richards and Mick Jagger have had their issues over the years, but Richards’ frustration over Jagger’s solo career threatened to break up The Rolling Stones. The guitarist resented the fact that Jagger prioritized his solo music over a Rolling Stones tour. It didn’t help that he flat-out disliked Jagger’s album. In his memoir, Richards disparaged his bandmate’s album. Here’s the surprising reason he compared it to Mein Kampf.
Keith Richards openly disliked Mick Jagger’s solo album
While The Rolling Stones worked on their album Dirty Work, Jagger simultaneously promoted his debut solo album, She’s the Boss. Richards found this frustrating, at least partly because he didn’t think the album was worth it.
“Mick’s album was called She’s the Boss, which said it all,” he wrote in his memoir Life. “I’ve never listened to the entire thing all the way through.

The Patient (FX) The Patient
Most episodes of FX’s The Patient stick with the perspective of Steve Carell’s Alan Strauss, a therapist held captive by a serial killer portrayed by Domhnall Gleeson. But in the seventh episode, “Kaddish,” the camera zooms out. As Alan says the Jewish prayer of mourning for both his dead wife and himself, director Gwyneth Horder-Payton photographs Carell through a rain-stained window in the basement room where he’s imprisoned.
“It just felt like the time to pull back the cameras and observe this human being in his own misery,” says executive producer Chris Long.
Backlit by light pouring in through glass bricks, Carell stands solemnly holding a piece of paper his captor printed out for him with the words of the kaddish. It’s an emotionally fraught moment, but Long and creators Joe Weisberg and Joel Fields thought it best to leave the character in his loneliness.

Keith Richards has never hesitated to call out music he doesn’t like. That includes tunes by The Rolling Stones. The loose-lipped guitarist freely criticized the band’s music, going as far as to call one Stones album garbage. So for Richards to admit Jimmy Miller was the key to The Rolling Stones’ best records is no faint praise.
Keith Richards said producer Jimmy Miller was a key figure in making The Rolling Stones’ ‘best records’
The Rolling Stones spent their early years as a cover band as Richards and singer Mick Jagger developed as songwriters. The pair gave away a top-10 song before their band had a hit, but the Stones eventually became hitmakers with Jagger and Richards leading the way.
Once they found their footing, the Stones had a run of success that would be the envy of all but a few bands. Starting in 1968, they released a...

The producers of “F9: The Fast Saga” — the ninth installation in the “Fast and the Furious” franchise — have admitted liability over an accident that left a stunt performer with “life-changing” injuries.
Joe Watts, a seasoned stunt performer who had worked on big-budget features including “Solo: A Star Wars Story” and “Pokemon: Detective Pikachu,” was rehearsing a fight scene at Leavesden Studios in 2019 with a stand in for Vin Diesel when he was thrown over a balcony and onto a concrete floor from a height of over 20 feet.
It is alleged that a safety wire designed to stop Watts’s fall malfunctioned and he missed the safety mat because the stunt was performed differently to the initial rehearsal. Watts, who suffered a fractured skull, traumatic brain injury, psychiatric injury and damage to his shoulder, was in a coma for five days following the accident. According to his lawyers he has been...

Bill Wyman is an original member of The Rolling Stones. However, he left the band in 1993. Legendary British rock band Rolling Stones will be reuniting with their former bassist Bill Wyman after 30 years since his departure from the band. The 86-year-old Wyman was last seen in the band’s 1989 LP ‘Steel Wheels’ after which, he quit the band in 1993.
However, Wyman did briefly reunite with the band and played on stage with Jagger, Watts, Keith Richards, and Ronnie Wood for their 50th anniversary tour in 2012. Since leaving The Stones, Wyman has kept active with a solo career, with his latest solo album coming out in 2015 called ‘Back to Basics’.
Now, the former bassist will be featured on the band’s upcoming studio album, which was written as a tribute to their late drummer Charlie Watts, who died in August 2021 at the age of 80 due to throat cancer, although his drumming will be on the LP.

More than 30 years after leaving the Rolling Stones, Bill Wyman is back.
The 86-year-old bassist will be featured on a song on the Stones’ upcoming album, the Sun reported Friday, as a tribute to their late drummer Charlie Watts, who died in August 2021. Watts will also be on the recording.
Mick Jagger reportedly invited Wyman to recording sessions in Los Angeles to work on the track. The album is expected this fall, and will be the first Stones album since the Grammy-winning covers album Blue & Lonesome in 2016, and the first of original material since A Bigger Bang in 2005.
Previously, Beatles Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr were reported to be contributors on the new recording as well.
“Bill hasn’t seen the band together for years but always loved Charlie. This record’s really a tribute to Charlie, so he couldn’t say no,” a source told the Sun.
