Dream Theater have announced the return of founding drummer Mike Portnoy after a 13 year absence from the band. The legendary stickman is back in the veteran prog-metal act’s lineup, as his replacement Mike Mangini exits the group.
Portnoy, who formed the band under the name Majesty with guitarist John Petrucci and bassist John Myung in 1985, officially exited Dream Theater in September 2010. The drummer had begun working with Avenged Sevenfold around that time, filling the shoes of that band’s late drummer Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan. He ultimately didn’t get the full-time gig in Avenged Sevenfold, and ended up out of both bands. He soon lobbied for his job back in Dream Theater, but had been replaced by Mangini.
Recent events have suggested a reconnection between Portnoy and Dream Theater, including the drummer playing on Petrucci’s latest solo album, Terminal Velocity, as well as the pair hitting the road together for a 2022 tour.

Prince Harry’s no longer a “royal highness,” as far as the British royal family’s website goes. It underwent a small update, particularly surrounding the Duke of Sussex’s title, which an expert doesn’t believe was a “slight.”

After The Daily Express called out the royal family’s website for calling Harry “His Royal Highness,” his title changed. On the website, that is. Harry went from an Hrh to being referred to as simply “The Duke” on his biography page.
The royal family also corrected another error pointed out by the outlet: Harry being the youngest son of the Prince of Wales. Harry’s father, King Charles III, used to be the Prince of Wales. However, the title now belongs to Harry’s brother, Prince William. Meaning that...

The Royal Family has been making some updates to its websites of late, and Prince Harry has been the subject of those changes. Pages that refer to Prince Harry have been altered to remove Hrh, meaning His Royal Highness, following his stepping down as a working Royal in 2020. He is instead referred to as the Duke of Sussex.
Changes to the royal website came about after The Express pointed out many mistakes included on the official outlet of the Royal family on Aug. 4. These included the late Queen still being referred to as the monarch, despite her passing in September 2022, King Charles still being referred to as the Prince of Wales, and Prince Harry as his former title.
It seems the Royal Family took note, and quickly worked on updating the website. "The Royal Family website contains over five thousand pages of information about the life and work of the Royal Family.

Three years after his crushing exit from the royal family, Prince Harry‘s Hrh title has been deleted from the clan’s official website. Also changed are other elements of Harry’s biography and its placement among other prominent members of the House of Windsor.

Buckingham Palace announced on Saturday that Queen Elizabeth II‘s final resting place has a new ledger stone at the King George VI Memorial Chapel.
The Palace released a new photo of the ledger stone, which the Palace says is made of hand-carved Belgian black marble with brass letter inlays to match the previous ledger stone installed in the chapel. The memorial chapel sits within the walls of St. George’s Chapel in Windsor. The new ledger stone now reads the late monarch’s name as well as her late husband, Prince Philip (1921-2021), and her late parents — King George VI (1895-1952) and Queen Elizabeth (1900-2002).

Prince Harry and Prince William Present a United Front During Queen Elizabeth II's Coffin Procession
Prince Harry and Prince William presented a united front as they honored their late "Granny" Queen Elizabeth II on Wednesday, Sept. 14. The brothers walked beside each other in a procession behind Elizabeth's coffin from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall.
Also participating in the procession were the Queen's four children - King Charles III, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew, and Prince Edward, among other royal family members. Harry and William's wives, Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton, traveled to Westminster Hall by car and joined the princes inside to pay their respects.
Harry was notably not wearing his military uniform despite having served in the British Army for a decade. It was announced earlier this week that only working members of the royal family would wear military garb for the Queen's funeral events. In a statement shared with Entertainment Tonight on Sept. 13, a representative for Harry said he implored the public to focus on what's important.

Queen Elizabeth’s doctors are expressing concern about the long-reigning monarch’s health.
Buckingham Palace released an extraordinary statement about her health, using language that has left the British public deeply concerned for her wellbeing.
In February, she celebrated her Platinum Jubilee, which marked 70 years since she became the monarch of the United Kingdom after her father’s death.
Later that month, the Queen was diagnosed with Covid-19 after meeting with her son Prince Charles.
She reportedly experienced mild cold-like symptoms and canceled two virtual meetings as a result. However, she recovered in the same month and met with Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau at Windsor Castle in early March.
