Hey. Do you want to get a sense of how holy-fuck-violent Nikhil Nagesh Bhat's action movie Kill is? Then watch this clip! If I remember correctly, since it's been a while since I caught the world premiere at TIFF, this is about the halfway point of movie when the gang of thieves does something so unforgivable that it flicks the switch in army commando Amrit's head from 'stand down' to 'kill everyone in your way'. When army commando Amrit (Lakshya) finds out his true love Tulika (Tanya Maniktala) is engaged against her will, he boards a New Delhi-bound train in a daring quest to derail the arranged marriage. But when a gang of knife-wielding thieves led by the ruthless Fani (Raghav Juyal) begin...

All aboard! The Pain Train is leaving the station, and you want to avoid getting stuck riding coach! Lionsgate is giving action fans something to hide the wet spot in their pants about today with a new clip and poster for Nikhil Nagesh Bhat’s Kill. Described as India’s goriest and most intensely violent film, Kill is a balls-to-the-wall action thriller with more villains looking like Swiss cheese after a flurry of creative stab wounds and neck snaps.
Nikhil Nagesh Bhat directs Kill from a script he wrote with Ayesha Syed. The plot revolves around a passenger on a train to New Delhi. The train soon becomes a combat battleground as a pair of commandos face an army of invading bandits. What was supposed to be a leisurely trek turns into a claustrophobic bloodbath, with death and destruction filling every car along a fast-moving train.

Years ago, Indian director Nikhil Nagesh Bhat fell asleep on a cross-country train ride, only to discover upon reaching his destination that the cars on either side of his had been robbed by armed bandits, known as “dacoits.” The heist couldn’t have been too intense, or it would have awakened him, but it got the helmer’s gears turning about what a truly terrifying train raid might look like. The answer: “Kill,” in which a crew of 40-odd thieves board a train, intending to steal passengers’ watches and phones, then turn bloodthirsty after running into a pair of hardheaded commandos.
As brutal a film as the country has ever produced, “Kill” is a shockingly graphic action showcase from an industry that typically plays violence in a more cartoony register. All told, “Overkill” probably would have been a better title, considering how far Bhat takes each and every altercation, milking it for maximum vengeance.

Amrit (Lakshya) admits near the beginning of Nikhil Nagesh Bhat’s no-holds-barred action extravaganza Kill that the only reason Fani (Raghav Juyal) and his extended family of dacoit train robbers are still alive is because they aren’t on a battlefield. Had he and his Commando Captain partner Viresh met them in combat, they probably wouldn’t have even seen them coming. So be glad for a few broken bones and lacerations. Things could be so much worse. I just never quite imagined how much worse.
Because a switch gets flipped around the midway point. What starts as Amrit desperately trying to protect Tulika (Tanya Maniktala), the woman he loves, and her powerful family soon becomes a gorefest devoid of prisoners. It’s not even like Fani and his gang were intentionally targeting them, either; they were simply looking for an easy score lasting the thirty minutes between train stops...

Toronto Film Festival Midnight Madness world premiere “Kill” is a confluence of three stellar Indian talents.

“Kill” belongs to the extreme action genre, a rarity in Indian cinema. She is betrothed to someone else against her wishes. In HBO/Max’s The Sex Lives of College Girls, created by Mindy Kaling and Justin Noble, Amrit Kaur plays Bela, who often finds herself in sticky situations for stopping at nothing to advance her comedy writing career.
“I’m very similar,” says the 30-year-old actress, who grew up in Ontario in a Sikh family. “I think my approach to acting is: There is nothing in the human experience that isn’t in me. When Chloë took the stage at Popsugar Play/Ground on June 2, one word came to mind: confidence. Sporting a sheer bodysuit, a navy blue leather cape, and sky-high platform heels, the multihyphenate flooded the stage with a whole lot of presence, even though she was up there entirely alone. That's right: no backup dancers, musicians, or even a DJ. It was simply Chloë, with nothing but her voice and her talent and her confidence to get the crowd going.
And boy, was the crowd going. Play/Ground attendees had spent the whole day in downtown Los Angeles partaking in celebrity trainer-led workouts, self-care stations, and tasty bites - and now it was all culminating in a special performance and intimate chat with Chloë. She took the stage right after a social hour hosted by SweeTARTS (with DJ Amrit spinning beats), so everyone was already bouncing in their seats, excited for...

A snarky Easter Instagram post made it seem as though Vishal Parvani from Family Karma is feuding with Brian Benni.
Parvani shared a group shot, tagged everyone except for Benni, and placed a hatched chicken emoji over Benni’s face in the photo. He captioned the shot, “Happy Easter from my Fave Family members to yours!” Anisha Ramakrishna, who is featured in the photo replied for Parvani to “spill the chai.”
So it appears that even the close-knit group isn’t entirely sure why Parvani took a shot at Benni.
Brian Benni from ‘Family Karma’ called the photo ‘corny’
Also included in the Instagram photo are Amrit Kapai, Bali Chainani, and Rish Karam. The only comment Benni made was the call the post, “Corny.”

While Monica Vaswani from Family Karma can’t reveal much about her relationship status with Rish Karam, she can share that she’s in a better, happier place today.
Vaswani spent Family Karma Season 3 dealing with rumors that Karam cheated on her. But she also felt stuck in her relationship with a man who seemed hesitant to propose.
Reliving the pain from the season has been hard. “I’ve received a lot of support and at the same point in time, that’s kind of offset some of my feelings through it too,” she recently told Showbiz Cheat Sheet. “It’s been like a giant therapy session for me to live back and see things for the first time and hear conversations for the first time. But yeah, it hasn’t been the best.”

They may not be sniping at one another this season of Family Karma, but Anisha Ramakrishna still threw some shade at Monica Vaswani’s Ft. Lauderdale gondola date with Rish Karam.
Rish staged a romantic date aboard a gondola, which almost looked like he was setting the scene for a proposal. He didn’t propose, but Monica said he knew she wanted a grander proposal. However, cheating rumors continue to dog the couple and fans have doubts that the couple will end up together.
Anisha is the ‘Family Karma’ shade assassin
Anisha, who got married days before BravoCon joked about how her husband took her on a real gondola ride. “A lot of us don’t have a camera with us when we’re filming or planning our wedding,” she said. “My honeymoon was BravoCon. And I’m gonna throw some shade. My husband took me to the real gondola.
