The cast of Netlfix’s Never Have I Ever have lived through some social nightmare scenarios on screen. Across the show’s four seasons, Devi (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) became the poster character for the slogan: “I support women’s rights, but more importantly I support women’s wrongs.”
Now, the actors who’ve navigated these scenarios on the show are extending their wisdom to those navigating them in the real world as they join Rolling Stone for the latest episode of What Would You Do?

The Bennifer era is back upon us. All eyes — and cameras — were upon Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez at “The Flash” premiere at Ovation Hollywood Monday night.
Affleck reprises his role as Bruce Wayne/Batman in the superhero spin-off. Ezra Miller is back as the titular lead, but the actor kept a relatively low profile on the red carpet.
In addition to the cast and crew, there was a strong “Never Have I Ever” presence, with actors Richa Moorjani, Lee Rodriguez and Michael Cimino all in attendance. Also showing her support was Jessica Chastain, though she does not appear in the movie.
The DC film opens June 16. In the film, worlds collide when the Flash uses his superpowers to travel back in time to change the events of the past. For example, there’s not only Affleck’s Batman, but also a Batman played by Michael Keaton, who donned the Batsuit in the 1989 blockbuster.

Jaren Lewison hopes the scene in Netflix’s “Never Have I Ever” Season 4 finale where Ben Gross realizes he needs to profess his love to Devi Vishwakumar (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) becomes as iconic as Heath Ledger’s dancing in “Ten Things I Hate About You” or John Cusack’s boombox scene in “Say Anything.”
In the scene, Ben flies from New York back to California to tell Devi he “likes her,” nay, he “loves her” during Nirmala’s wedding.
“I’m really hoping that audiences respond to that because I think that’s the culmination of the last four years of every Ben and Devi moment, the first one being at Model Un when they work together. There’s a connection there, and Ben says to her,...

"Never Have I Ever" fans still can't believe this is the end of the road for the Netflix show after four seasons - and neither can series star Lee Rodriguez. Ever since its premiere in 2020, "Never Have I Ever" has solidified itself as a heartwarming teen dramedy that excels both at delivering the most chaotic, side-splitting scenarios, as well as moving heart-to-hearts between its characters. The Netflix coming-of-age comedy, created by Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher, centers on Devi Vishwakumar (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) as she navigates high school along with her best friends, Fabiola (Lee Rodriguez) and Eleanor (Ramona Young).
One of the main aspects of the storyline is the intriguing love triangle between Devi, her former academic rival Ben (Jaren Lewison), and popular high-school hunk Paxton (Darren Barnet). Season four, which premiered on June 8, finally brings the show's many romantic plot lines to a close, but fans have long wondered whether the cast of "Never Have I Ever" are single or taken Irl. Here's a brief rundown of their public dating history.

Season four of Netflix's "Never Have I Ever" may have just dropped but we're already thinking about how we can see Devi and friends again. The Maitreyi Ramakrishnan-led teen dramedy is ending with this final season, as Devi heads off to college after completing her senior year of high school.
Back in 2022, series creator Mindy Kaling was upfront about why she wanted the show to conclude with four seasons. "I'm old-school, so I come from 'The Office,' where that show went on for nine seasons, and '[The] Mindy Project' went on for six seasons, but those were shows that weren't about high school," she told Popsugar at the time. "In the beginning, I thought, 'Oh, I could do this show forever and ever,' but then you see these kids and it's scary how old they look by the end of the season. Making Devi's dreams a reality has never been more fun for Maitreyi Ramakrishnan. The actor is back as California teenager Devi Vishwakumar in the fourth and final season of Netflix's hugely popular comedy series "Never Have I Ever," now a bit more comfortable in her skin, on screen and off, since the show's 2020 debut.
"I definitely have grown alongside [Devi] for sure. That's without a doubt. I went on this roller coaster ride that I never thought I would be on," Ramakrishnan, 21, tells Popsugar as season four starts streaming on Netflix on June 8. "I've had to do a lot of self-growth. Like of course as an actor, I've gotten better. But as a human being, I've had to mature and learn how to really be my own best friend and have a thick skin."

Alright, nerds. There’s one season of Mindy Kaling’s “Never Have I Ever” left. Devi Vishwakumar (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) and her besties Fabiola (Lee Rodriguez) and Eleanor (Ramona Young) will return to Sherman Oaks High School to conquer their senior year with confidence, ready for anything that might come their way, or so they think. Ben Gross (Jaren Lewison) and the other boys Paxton Hall-Yoshida (Darren Barnet) and Trent Harrison (Benjamin Norris) will return to school too in various ways.
Michael Cimino’s special guest appearance as a potential new love interest for Devi will shake up Sherman Oaks, and several other faces either return briefly or join for the final season of the Netflix teen comedy show. Never Have I Ever celebrated its fourth and final season premiere on Thursday, but with two key pieces missing — co-creators Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher, who skipped the event amid the writers strike.
“I love what I get to do, and I understand how lucky I am to be able to work in Hollywood at all,” Kaling wrote on her Instagram account just hours before the red carpet in Los Angeles, explaining her decision to stand with the WGA. “I hope the strike ends soon. It sucks to miss all these fun and meaningful milestones, but it’s a great example of what we are willing to sacrifice to be treated fairly.”
The show still went on, though, as stars Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Darren Barnet, Jaren Lewison, Richa Moorjani, Poorna Jagannathan, Lee Rodriguez and Ramona Young walked the press line and spoke about the Netflix show’s final 10 episodes.

Devi Vishwakumar is back for one more round of misadventures, as Netflix has just announced a release date for "Never Have I Ever" season 4. The fourth season of the high school-set comedy is poised to be its last, and while we're not quite ready to say goodbye to these vibrant weirdos and their not-finished-cooking teen brains yet, the final episodes look like a lot of fun.
Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher's Netflix comedy about a group of high school geeks led by horny, adventure-seeking Devi (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) has been lauded from its first season for its surprisingly poignant examination of grief and stereotype-bucking Indian-American representation. Across its three seasons, the show has gone to some deep places (the death of Devi's father influences both her best and worst choices) and some deeply funny ones, and while the latest teaser only offers a small taste of what's to come, it...

“Never Have I Ever” is nearing the final installment of its hilarious depiction of adolescent chaos, and showrunner/co-creator Lang Fisher already expects fans will have feelings about how the story ends.
The Netflix comedy series follows Sherman Oaks teen Devi Vishwakumar (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) as she juggles high school, grief over losing her father and love interests aplenty between hearthtrob Paxton Hall-Yoshida (Darren Barnet) and academic frenemy Ben Gross (Jaren Lewison).
Fisher tells TheWrap that the show’s final season, set to premiere Thursday, June 8, will see Devi make a clear choice between her two suitors — and not all fans will be happy with the outcome.
“I think there’s gonna be a subset of people who are disappointed because, you know, the love triangle comes to an end and decisions are made,” Fisher said during the NBCU Emmys Kickoff luncheon in Los Angeles Wednesday. “But I hope that we...

A teaser for the remaining 10 episodes, featuring the series’ signature John McEnroe voiceover, takes viewers back through the “ups and downs” of the previous three seasons for “Ivy League-chasing horndog” Devi Vishwakumar (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) and her friends. And then the preview offers a series of rapid-fire glimpses of season four, including the introduction of Michael Cimino’s skater character Ethan, who’s shown taking off his shirt and coming close to kissing Devi.
Ethan’s arrival adds another dimension to the ongoing love triangle between Devi, Paxton Hall-Yoshida (Darren Barnet) and Ben Gross (Jaren Lewison).

The streamer released a teaser clip and first-look photos at the last hurrah for Mindy Kaling’s high shcool comedy series, which also deals deftly with the topic of mental health.
As narrator John McEnroe says, “there’s no denying that the journey to senior year has had its ups and downs” and “some really bad downs” at that. The hotheadeed tennis player’s voice continues in the teaser clip, saying “But soon, Devi and her friends return to high school for one final year, and this time, they’re ready for anything.”

Netflix has set June 8 for the debut of the final season of “Never Have I Ever,” the high school comedy from co-creators Mindy Kaling and Lana Fisher that definitely should’ve gotten John McEnroe an Emmy nomination for Best Narrator.
“Never Have I Ever” Season 4 picks up after the events of Season 3, with show lead Devi (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) on the cusp of graduation and making tough choices about her love life and future. In the last batch of episodes, Devi eventually consummated her on-again, off-again flirtation with fellow school nerd Ben (Jaren Lewison) while seemingly moving on from her other on-again, off-again object of affection, Paxton (Darren Barnet). But Fisher says the love triangle will remain sharp-edged until the final episode streams.
“The love triangle is not over. It continues into Season 4. Anyone who is worried that this is it, it keeps going. Don’t worry. It’s for the length of the entire series,...

With Netflix’s “Never Have I Ever” now speeding toward its senior season, series star Maitreyi Ramakrishnan shared what sets it apart from other high school shows — its heart.
“We pack a punch into a good old half-hour comedy,” Ramakrishnan told Variety in an interview ahead of the show’s Season 3 launch. “It’s very heartwarming. Real things are being spoken about, in a way that it’s natural. It’s organic, it’s relatable. And that’s why many people — not just young South Asian, brown girls — can relate to it.”

Never Have I Ever started its journey on Netflix as a unique perspective on the trials and tribulations of teenage life told from a South Asian perspective. Mindy Kaling and her team have found all the right notes through the last three seasons to capture the experience of growing up as a first generation Indian-American. Romance has always been at the heart of the story, but the third season takes the relationships to an entirely different prevalence.
Nearly every character is tied to another, and they change partners quicker than a game of musical chairs. This can make it hard to process who is compatible with who, but we will do our best to rank the couples by their chemistry. Netflix’s Never Have I Ever is back for a third season of high school love and life lessons, with this year also exploring some more adult struggles and of course, a new heartthrob.

Best Reason to Watch: Prior to today, Neil Gaiman, the outspoken author behind previous book-to-screen adaptations of “Coraline,” “Stardust,” “American Gods,” and “Good Omens,” has said that his main responsibility to his award-winning 1989 comic book series was “to try and stop bad [adaptations] from happening.” Insofar as this is the first “Sandman” to be seen on screen, he succeeded. Netflix’s “Never Have I Ever” will return with a third season on Aug. 12, the streaming service announced Sunday. The popular teen series, from co-creators and executive producers Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher, also released first-look images for its upcoming set of episodes.
The coming-of-age comedy hit stars breakout Maitreyi Ramakrishnan as the often self-involved Devi. As a first-generation Indian American teenager who has just lost her father, she’s often at odds with her overprotective mother (Poorna Jagannathan) — and at the end of a short fuse. She finds solace in her best friends, Fabiola (Lee Rodriguez) and Eleanor (Ramona Young), and occasionally her put-together older cousin Kamala (Richa Moorjani), who helps her navigate the treacherous waters of high school classes, crushes and catastrophes.
Season 3 will pick up following the events of the second season finale’s winter formal, where Devi reconnects with Paxton (Darren Barnet), who is now her boyfriend.

With less than four weeks until the festival begins, Netflix Is A Joke: The Festival has added new shows to its lineup, including top stand-up performances, Netflix series cast events, as well as a free outdoor fan experience. The festival, which now boasts over 250 live shows across over 30 venues covering Los Angeles, is produced by Netflix in association with Live Nation.
One of the added highlights of the event is the Billy Eichner-hosted Stand Out: An LGBTQ + Celebration. The celebration is happening in 2022, (although postponed from 2020) in the wake of the October 2021 Netflix controversy that saw LGBTQ employees stage an office walkout due to what they considered to be transphobic content during Dave Chappelle’s Netflix comedy special, The Closer. Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos received backlash due to two internal emails — sent out on the same day and leaked days apart — in which he defended Chappelle and argued that...
