Some cliche somewhere said that ‘a picture is worth a thousand words.’ This has proven to be the case for me and especially when it comes to fan art. I have always sought out great fan art and have wanted to share it with as many people as possible. “Awesome Art We’ve Found Around The Net” is the outlet for that passion. New Republic Pictures has won the rights to John Glenn’s spec Cut and Run in a bidding war, with Jake Gyllenhaal (The Guilty) coming aboard to produce and star, Deadline has confirmed.
The film is billed as a heist thriller about a group of thieves using high-powered speedboats to rob superyachts, who steal the wrong thing from the wrong group of people.

The movie will be produced by Skybound Entertainment and Universal Pictures and they’ve hired Sean O’Keefe, who recently wrote the upcoming Peter Berg and Mark Wahlberg movie Wonderland.
Oblivion Song was premiered in 2008 and the story takes place “one decade after 300,000 residents of Philadelphia were suddenly trapped in Oblivion. Frantic recovery efforts were launched by the government but, after a few futile years, they were abandoned. Nathan Cole, however, hasn’t given up. He risks his life again and again trying to save those lost souls in Oblivion’s apocalyptic hellscape – but is that the real reason he can’t resist the siren call of the Oblivion Song?”

The Skybound and Image Comics title — which Kirkman created with artist Lorenzo De Felici — takes place a decade after 300,000 citizens of Philadelphia were suddenly lost in Oblivion. The government made every attempt to recover them but after many years they gave up, but Nathan Cole won’t, making daily trips to find those lost in the apocalyptic hellscape of Oblivion.
