Paul grew up in Melbourne Australia and studied at the University of Melbourne and Harvard.
After consulting to the exiled Iraqi government before the 2003 Iraq War, he worked as a trader in London for Morgan Stanley. Paul provided economic commentary for the Polish National Broadcaster TVP during the 2008 Financial Crisis. He made regular appearances on the national nightly news program.
He was a candidate for the 2009 EU Parliamentary Elections.
In 2014, Paul lead a global campaign alongside the Vatican and a number of national governments to assist refugees fleeing genocide in Iraq.
Paul co-founded two technology spin off companies from Harvard Medical School in the fields of Biology and Artificial Intelligence.
Paul has produced a number of documentaries for TVP Poland.
