Poll: Face-Off: Bolo Yeung vs. Sammo Hung

Bolo Yeung and Sammo Kam-Bo Hung are both imposing figures in the Hong Kong martial arts and action film industry. Interestingly, both share defining deep lifelong friendships with two of martial arts' biggest stars, Yeung with Bruce Lee and Hung with Jackie Chan.

Bolo Yeung got his first big break in the movie, Enter the Dragon (1973), where his signature muscular physique and honed fighting skills made him an impressive adversary for the lead, Bruce Lee. To date, he has appeared in over one hundred martial arts films and has faced off against some of the biggest stars in the martial arts genre over the past fifty years. He worked on two movies with Jean-Claude Van Damme in Bloodsport (1988) and Double Impact (1991).

Sammo Kam-Bo Hung's first notable film was Big and Little Wong Tin Bar — Big and Little Wong Tin Bar (1962), which was his and Jackie Chan's feature film debut. To date, he has appeared in over two hundred martial arts films and TV series. His trademark heavy muscular build has faced off against some of the biggest stars in the martial arts genre over some fifty years. He has been widely credited in his role as a fight choregrapher, director and producer for giving many their starts in the industry.
