Wesley Wren, better known by his stage name, Showtime Of GMG is an African American music artist, author, hip hop artist and singer. Also, one of the owners of WW Hair And Beauty Beauty supply Stores. He has gained recognition after the release of his first mixtape, "Rookie Of The Year". He achieved major critical success in the music industry after the release of mixtape "MVP" and "Sho Frazier".
In 2010, Showtime grabbed the interest of Chicago hip hop legend and platinum recording artist Twista and was later signed to his GMG ENTERTAINMENT imprint. Later in the year, he released his mixtape "Rookie Of The Year". Early in 2011 his second mixtape "MVP" was released. These two projects helped gain notoriety in the city and the cities being toured in.
In 2012, Showtime released his breakout musical body of work "Sho-Frazier". Sho-Frazier was well received by fans and radio with features from Twista, Lil Scrappy, Willie Taylor, Hot Stylz, Kidd Kidd and Yung Berg (Hitmaka). Singles on Sho-Frazier include Dashiki, Showtime produced by DJ Tight Mike, and Don't Stop Me Now featuring Twista.
With the murder of one of his best friends in 2014 and the death of his mother in 2015, Showtime took a break from touring and recording. While finding it difficult to stay focused, he decided to step away from music until 2018 when he released "We In This", featuring Twista, Yung Joc, and Gritz.
