António Ferreira debuted in Cannes 2000 at the Cinefondation official selection with his mid-length film Breathing Under Water (2000). His first feature Forget Everything I've Told You (2002) premiered in 2002 being one of the most successful Portuguese films that year. António Ferreira's movies have won several international prizes in festivals world wide and resonate with both audiences and critics. Together with the producer Tathiani Sacilotto, runs the company Persona Non Grata Pictures, sited in both Portugal and Brazil.- Filipe Costa was born in Coimbra in 1980. Samicas...", directed by António Fonseca; he then plays The Singer in Brecht's "The Causasian Chalk Circle", directed by Marco Antonio Rodrigues; Victor Remington, in "Como Havemos de Estar", directed by Nuno Pino Custódio. In that same company he also worked as a musical director, sound designer and original soundtrack composer. In 2010 he joins Teatro Meridional to perform in "1974", directed by Miguel Seabra. In Cinema he worked on his first full-length film in the "Embargo"'s leading role, directed by António Ferreira. He is also one of the founding members of the bands "Bunnyranch" and "Sean Riley & The Slowriders".

Vanessa Silva is an artist specializing in film and media. As a filmmaker, she has a passion for creating visual stories that capture and entertain. After attending university, she put her training in the visual media arts to work by creating, managing, and implementing countless projects in film, video, media, graphic design, photography, marketing, and web design. In addition, as a performer since childhood, she has acted in an array of new media, episodic series, industrials, and short and feature films.
In 2014, Vanessa co-developed Footlight Studios with the vision of creating characters and worlds she wanted to see more of on screen, while putting female storytellers at the forefront. Vanessa attributes any and all success of Footlight Studios to unyielding teamwork, imperative and meaningful collaboration, and ongoing education and training. Behind the camera she has training in conjunction with NBC/Universal, Alliance of Women Directors, AbelCine, ARRI Academy, BlackMagic, Canon, Hurlbut Visuals, Sundance Co//ab, and much more. In front of the camera, Vanessa has trained with the Stella Adler Studio of Acting/Art of Acting for Acting Technique, The Juilliard School Extension for Voice, The Groundlings School for Improvisation, and is a Specialized Training Alumni with The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Camera Acting for Film and Television.
