Jun Suenaga was born and raised in Japan. He shot 2 short films when he was in high school. The first film was awarded from the school. Regardless of dreaming to become a rock singer in Tokyo, he started to study acting and pantomime. Soon after he got involved in theater and appearing indie films there. As he was always fascinated by acting of New York actors, he decided to move to New York City for pursuing his acting career. Since then he has been residing in the city and he has been continue to grow as an actor. He used to think Actors should focus on acting, but lately he set his creativity free. Thus, beside acting, he writes, directs, is being an active photographer, is filming documentary projects and sings in rock bands. As a documentarian, He has been co-directing interviews for Oral History of Japanese American in NY since late 2015.
