Composer, songwriter ("If You Are But a Dream", "Ivory Tower", "Wanted"), singer, author and musician, educated in high school and thereafter a member of the Paul Whiteman orchestra for eight years and on the air with CBS for 22 years. Joining ASCAP in 1943, his musical collaborators included Lois Steele, and his other popular-song compositions included "Peace", "Mrs. Santa Claus", "Make America Proud of You", "My Greatest Mistake", and "Until".- Jake White was raised in North Platte, Nebraska and attended college at The University of Kansas where he was elected Student Body President. He moved to San Francisco after college and studied acting at the Jean Shelton Actor's Lab. Since moving to Los Angeles he has acted in several theater productions, independent films as well as produced and directed the award-winning documentary "Downwinders: The People of Parowan." He is a member of SAG and the founder of Philm Productions.
