French film director and screenwriter. Born in Algiers in 1905, from 1943 to 1945 he was director of Radio Algeri in France. He wrote and directed his first film in 1939. His second film, Les surprises de la radio (1940) was also his last until 1948, due to the occupation of France by the Germans. During the war, he worked mainly in radio. After the Liberation, he was director of the radio show Pour Tous. His most interesting film is Les Aventures des Pieds-Nickelés, inspired by the comics of Forlon, though Aboulker simultaneously mocks the story. Aboulker returned to films in 1948, but his career ended a mere four years later with his early death at 47.- Naibro Bartley was a short story writer, newspaper columnist and lecturer. Her serialized stories began appearing in popular magazines of the day while she was still in her early twenties.
Naibro was the younger of two children born to William and Zayda Bartley in Buffalo, N.Y., where their father worked as an entertainer. - Composer

José Forns was born in 1897 in Spain. José was a composer and writer, known for Una extraña aventura de Luis Candelas (1926), El conde de Maravillas (1927) and Cara de Goma (1959). José died on 7 September 1952 in Geneva, Switzerland.
