Johnny Solinger is best known as the lead singer of the rock band Skid Row.
Johnny Solinger moved to the Dallas/Ft Worth area as a young boy where he was exposed in equal doses to Hard Rock and Country music, and fell in love with them both. In 1990, he formed the rock band Solinger in Dallas, recording 4 independent records -Solinger, Solinger II, Chain Link Fence and Solinger Live-and enjoying live performance and radio success throughout the Southwest.
In 1999 Skid Row he joins the rock band Skid Row, and in the year 2000 he embarked on a WorldWide tour opening for KISS. He has been touring the world with Skid Row ever since.
To-date, Johnny has recorded 2 records with Skid Row: Thickskin, and Revolutions per minutes.
In 2008, Johnny pursues something that's been running through his veins his whole life...country music. His first country album was only released regionally and is filled with both sides of Johnny Solinger, Country and Rock. The album includes the song "You lie", which he recorded with his band mates of Skid Row.
