- The historic River Port of Goolwa is located near the mouth of the Murray River in South Australia, it saw the birth of the Murray River trade and it was the only port on the Murray Darling River system where entire riverboats where constructed. Between 1853 and 1913 sixty one vessels, including thirty seven paddle steamers were built at Goolwa. This documentary explores the lost history of shipbuilding at Goolwa and the craft of these early shipwrights. Made in collaboration with the Friends of the Oscar PW and with support from the Maritime Museums of Australia Project Support Scheme and Lions Club of Goolwa.
- In 1964, Australia conducted a testing program for Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC) vehicles in Innisfail, QLD, Australia - the 6 Tropical Trials. The trials saw the introduction of the M113A1 Armoured Personnel Carrier into Australia's Army. This vehicle was used extensively in the Vietnam War and subsequent variants saw over 55 years of operational service. In 1964 120 personnel travelled from Victoria to Innisfail for the 6th Tropical Trials Unit. This documentary isn't a war film. It features archival photographs taken of the 6TTU and offers an insight into how these men fitted in with the local community. Six men who participated share their memories of the trials, tropical hazards, accidents, meeting wives, and spaghetti for breakfast. This project encompassed the documentary film and an 8 part Service Voices, Radio Adelaide radio series produced by Helen Meyer. It was a finalist in the Community Broadcasting Association of Australia 2022 Awards in the Excellence in Innovative Programming category.
