Nellie Stewart became the first actor to work on percentage, when she was paid £1000 plus a percentage of the gross.
In her 1923 autobiography, Nellie Stewart suggested that she owned a complete copy of the film, to be released after her death. However, none was ever found.
Now considered to be a lost film.
Nellie Stewart first performed in the play in February 1902, and continued to play it until shortly before her death in 1931. She would have performed it in New York in 1906, but during a successful run in San Francisco the costumes and scenery were destroyed in the earthquake. She named her house in Mosman, New South Wales, Australia 'Den O'Gwynne'.
