The story told by this film is not up to standard as a drama or as a moral interpretation of life; it is weak, artistically and ethically. Good photography and clever acting go for little in making such a story entertaining. Pearl White and Chester Barnett have the leading roles. - The Moving Picture World, August 9, 1913
