A two-reel number in which Florence Lawrence and Matt Moore impersonate an Italian organ grinder and his wife in order to elude the girl's parents. They are rounded up in jail and the girl's father gets them out. This is quite a pleasing comedy offering, based on a slight plot. The title, "Counterfeiters." is not used in a literal sense. - The Moving Picture World, September 5, 1914
