Dead but not dead (spoiler)

Warning: Spoilers
Now there are two people running around suffering from bullet wounds: Mr. Solomon and Kate Kaplan. It is getting hard to keep track of the past players (knowing they were not killed off and will be rejoining the show at some future point.) Attempting to kill Kaplan (Red has not failed in his other assassinations) makes one wonder if Kaplan got to him and he decided not to kill her. Yet, I am uncertain because he does not appear to care about anything except Elizabeth and her daughter. Trying to focus on the present while trying to figure out where this is going keeps the plot moving, but I long for the days of the blacklisters. Elizabeth wonders where "home" is, just like many of us in extended families. It is easy to empathize with her. Still my favorite show. Spader is perfect. Can't imagine anyone else in this role.
