Little did the Baha Men know, but sometimes the dogs let themselves out.
A hole in the fence, a darting squirrel, a scary thunderstorm. There are many factors that can cause a canine to go missing.
Business Insider asked Whistle — a company dedicated to making Gps collars for dogs — for its numbers on which dogs are the best escape artists. Whistle pulled data from over 150,000 dogs using their Gps collars and found some definite trends.

The National Film Registry announced this week its annual selection of 25 films and recordings to add to the permanent collection of the Library of Congress, and among them are old Hollywood classics, recent Oscar winners, and beloved '80s favorites.
Highlights of this year's inductees include comedy classic "Ghostbusters" and Tom Cruise's iconic flick "Top Gun." Awards bait fare "Shawshank Redemption" (which nabbed seven Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture) and "L.A. Confidential" (which took home the Best Supporting Actress and Best Adapted Screenplay trophies) also made the 2015 cut.
There are always a few quirky additions, too, and this year's crop is no different. A recording that Thomas Edison made of a sneeze in 1894 is a new inductee, as is a short animated film from Disney called "The Story of Menstruation," which was shown in American schools as part of health education classes in the 1940s (and was...

Nooooo. I almost forgot to share the National Film Registries new titles. Each year they add 25 pictures that are deemed historically, culturally or aesthetically important. Each year I suggest that we should watch all the titles together. Well, the ones we can find at least. Perhaps we'll actually do that for 2016 -- you never know! Getting a spot on the National Film Registry is more symbolic than active. It does not guarantee preservation or restorations but it does suggest that these films should all be preserved and/or restored.
The 2015 additions are:
Edison Kinetoscopic Record of a Sneeze (1894) - watch it now. it's six seconds long... the earliest surviving copyrighted film Dream of a Rarebit Fiend (1906) -watch it now. (7 minutes) from a short Winsor McCay comic strip A Fool There Was (1915) -watch it now. (66 minutes) Theda Bara tempts a married man! It's always the woman's fault, don't you know Humoresque...

Movies being lost to time, degradation, and history is a big issue, but there are those fighting to preserve significant movies from being falling into to the void. One of these groups is the National Film Registry, who, every year since 1989, has selected 25 movies deemed noteworthy, important, and culturally significant and added them to the Library of Congress to be maintained and kept safely for future generations to enjoy. And as the year winds to a close, the 2015 selections have been revealed. The list this year, from The Hollywood Reporter, includes a wide variety of movies, from 1950s melodramas to big action blockbusters to sarcastic comedies. As far as time frames go, they run from the late 19th to the late 1990s. Hell, there.s even footage of a man sneezing all the way back in 1894. Check out the entire list below: Being There (1979) Black and Tan (1929) Dracula (Spanish-language version...

Since 1989, the National Film Registry of the Library of Congress has been accomplishing the important task of preserving films that “represent important cultural, artistic and historic achievements in filmmaking.” From films way back in 1897 all the way up to 2004, they’ve now reached 675 films that celebrate our heritage and encapsulate our film history.
Today they’ve unveiled their 2015 list, which includes classics such as Douglas Sirk‘s melodrama Imitation of Life, Hal Ashby‘s Being There, and John Frankenheimer‘s Seconds. Perhaps the most popular picks, The Shawshank Redemption, Ghostbusters, Top Gun, and L.A. Confidential were also added. Check out the full list below.
Being There (1979)
Chance, a simple-minded gardener (Peter Sellers) whose only contact with the outside world is through television, becomes the toast of the town following a series of misunderstandings. The Library of Congress on Wednesday morning revealed the 25 new titles it's sending this year to the National Film Registry for preservation. New are L.A. Confidential, The Shawshank Redemption, The Mark of Zorro, Top Gun, and that Thomas Edison thing of a sneeze in the 1800s. Just in time to help with its reboot's press campaign, Ghostbusters also made the cut. Still no word on how Dan Aykroyd's vodka is doing, though. Anyway, here are all the 2015 additions, in alphabetical order: Being There (1979) Black and Tan (1929) Dracula (Spanish) (1931) Dream of a Rarebit Fiend (1906) Eadweard Muybridge, Zoopraxographer (1975) Edison Kinetoscopic Record of a Sneeze (1894) A Fool There Was (1915) Ghostbusters (1984) Hail the Conquering Hero (1944) Humoresque (1920) Imitation of Life (1959) The Inner World of Aphasia (1968) John Henry and the Inky-Poo (1946) L.A. Confidential (1997) The Mark of Zorro (1920) The Old...

Bill Donahue wants to march in Pride, Courtney Love squares off with Daniel Tosh, Mystery Girls brings camp back to television
Johnny Weir has announced that he and his husband of two years Victor Voronov have split up. This probably was to be anticipated after Voronov filed domestic abuse charges against Weir just before the Sochi games, which they jointly asked to be dismissed.
Sony has announced plans to produce Powers, which they intend to shoot as a premium cable style show. I can’t recall if this world of superheroes is directly relevant, but something at the back of my mind says that while FX was trying to develop it, someone said it had a Lgbt angle.
It’s hard to believe that Mysterious Skin is 10 years old, but the anniversary edition was released this week with new commentary by Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Gregg Araki and Brady Corbett.

The "Psych" remake episode, "Cloudy ... With a Chance of Improvement," was a huge treat for long-time fans of the show. It took a so-so Season 1 episode and spruced up the plot a bit, plus brought back a cavalcade of "Psych" guest stars and fun references.
The Jackson Hale murder is still at the core of the episode, but this time, instead of a jealous production assistant, the murderer is a morning show anchor who thinks gigolo Jackson is sleeping with his wife -- and wannabe-weatherman Ruben Leonard gets caught in the crossfire.
There was a lot to spy for the eagle-eyed fan and we've compiled a list for you (which may not even be complete), but if you'd prefer to figure it all out for yourself without help, skip the "Eye Spy" section at the bottom.

Clone High Episode 4 ‘Film Fest: Tears of a Clone’
Written by Erica Rivinoja
Aired 11/15/2002
For all of its wacky animation and pop culture references, Clone High is a very thought-out show, one which uses every single line of dialogue and inch of screen to maximum effect. A perfect example of this is ‘Film Fast’, which – like last week’s magnificent episode – manages to cram in a half-dozen different parodies in both obvious and subtle fashions, without ever losing sight of its overarching story and goals for the famous teenage clones.
But those fragments of story bookend the episode, which revolves around a film festival at Clone High, started to curb the violent rioting that began taking place after JFK won the cross country championships – though its fair to assume the N’Sync concert that was moved to the nurse’s office might’ve helped stir the shit a little bit.
