Sex & Nudity

  • Female nudity is well represented in art as well as in artist's models. No parallel male nudity. Female nudity is implied rather than overt.
  • Premarital sex is a large part of the drama. Single female is just breaking up with her married male lover in the first scene. She is then implied to be loved living with her male artist employer. Men are seen to be freely promiscuous; whereas, females are expected to be virginal before marriage, and monogamous during marriage.

Violence & Gore

  • A jealous man is implied to beat up his rival behind behind closed doors.
