Sex & Nudity

  • The Justice of the Peace, a cross-eyed man, kisses Ollie, thinking he was the bride. It's played for laughs.

Violence & Gore

  • Slapstick cartoonish violence.
  • Ollie uses his throat spray, not knowing Stan recently filled it with bug spray to kill flies, and experiences extreme pain as he runs around the house looking for water. Stan breaks him off an ice cube, which cures his throat, only then Ollie trips on a dropped piece of ice and goes flying into the dining room, causing the whole room to collapse.
  • A suitcase is dropped on Ollie's head.
  • Dulcy's father vehemently protests the marriage and locks her in her bedroom. He immediately trips over a carpet sweeper and goes flying down the stairs.
  • Ollie and Dulcy, two obese people, try to squeeze into a Baby Austin, which is a very small car. Once they're all in, the car rears up and Stan's head pops through the roof.
  • The justice's wife punches Stan.
