When the juror behind Edna leans forward to make a comment, he is holding an unlit cigar, which he puts in his mouth when he leans back. In the next shot (looking past the witness at the entire jury) the cigar has disappeared.
The murder weapon would not have been loaded when it was placed in evidence. I would have been checked too many times and gone through too many hands.
