Sex & Nudity

Violence & Gore

  • Slapstick cartoon violence.
  • As Ollie tries to paint the boat rudder, Stan keeps turning the stick, causing it to hit Ollie in the face.
  • Ollie slips on soap and goes flying off the boat.
  • Stan and Ollie pour water all over each other.
  • Stan is seen with a black eye and sitting in the small room below deck, implying Ollie had enough of his antics, hit him and imprisoned him below. Though when Stan goes in and out of the small room, Ollie is shoved against the mast.
  • Stan gets his head caught between the mast and the wall, so he saws through it, while Ollie is on a ladder, painting the top. Suddenly, the mast breaks loose and Ollie falls along with it into a puddle.
  • Stan is later seen with two black eyes and his hands tied to a barrel.
  • When they are unable to move the boat with their car, Stan suggests putting the sail up. This causes the boat and car to roll away on their own, resulting in the destruction of both. As a way of "looking on the bright side", Stan finds his horn in the wreckage and blows on it, causing Ollie to chase him.
