Storyline
Plot Summary |
Bob Brown endured three years of medical school but dropped out before the fourth. Now, many years later, he operates the X-ray machine for another doctor and dates a nurse who works there. She encourages him to go back to school to finish his degree and even insists on paying for it. He takes her up on the offer and heads off to school, but before he can get there, he gambles and drinks her money away. Instead of telling her the truth, he writes to her and pretends he's taking classes, but in reality he's a hospital orderly who tends to overstep his bounds. After one mistake too many, he's fired and must return to his nurse girlfriend without his degree--but that won't stop him from opening a practice under false pretenses.
