When Butch and Woim are chasing the Gang, one of the sets has a possible real advertisement painted on a wooden wall: "F.D. Allen Co. / Contractor-Builder / 1001 Cochran Ave. Phone S.M. 1886". If it was an actual business, it would have been at the corner of Olympic Boulevard and South Cochran Avenue (there is no North Cochran) in Los Angeles. It is a residential district, though businesses like this might have existed along Olympic (originally 10th Street, re-named during the Xth Olympiad in Los Angeles in 1932). The address does not exist now (2019), as the first address in the 1000 block of Cochran is 1011.
The dummies of Spanky and Alfalfa used in this picture were the actual stand-in dummies for George ("Spanky") McFarland and Carl ("Alfalfa") Switzer respectively.
Darla Hood is seen very briefly in the recital scene with her back to the camera.
