Storyline
Plot Summary |
Phil Diffy is the oldest child in a normal family. His sister, Pim is an often devious girl with an unusual vocal talent, his mother has a robotic body, and his father spends all of his time working on their broken time machine. Okay, so Phil would be normal he were in his own time. Until then, the Diffys are stuck in the early 21st Century (what they consider the past) and trying to fit in. Only one person knows their secret, Phil's new best friend bubbly and popular Keely Teslow. But with this new life and the misadventures that come with it become the norm, when the time comes will Phil want to return to the future? Written by Max Vaughn |

Did You Know?
Trivia | In the original show concept, Barbara Diffy was going to have a detachable head and a robotic body, which is why the character is wearing chokers and turtlenecks throughout the first season - to cover up where her head was supposed to detach. However, all scenes of this idea were cut out during the episodes aired, despite clips being included in some of the early advertisements. This was because Disney was concerned that people may possibly compare it to the Iraq beheading videos, which were popularized in 2004. See more » |
Goofs | When Phil and Keely's teacher is handing out a test, it can be seen that some of the tests are already marked with an "F". See more » |

Quotes |
Phil Diffy:
I don't wanna be your girlfriend. I wanna be your *boy*friend. [stops startled and off Keely's equally surprised look] Phil Diffy: I mean, your friend... who's a boy. A guy. A guy friend. Keely Teslow: Why didn't you tell me? Phil Diffy: I didn't know how. Keely Teslow: Phil, you can tell me anything. [takes him by his shoulders] Keely Teslow: I'm your girlfriend. I, I, I mean... your friend who's a girl. A gal. A gal friend. See more » |
