- When three Texas Rangers try to investigate kidnapped Mexicans being used as forced labor in the mines of Silver Bullet, they are framed for murder by the town's corrupt sheriff.
- Hoppy, California and Johnny are Texas Rangers trying to end a scheme which smuggles Mexicans into the United States to become essentially slaves in a silver mine owned by Orestes Krebs. - The commandant of the Mexican Border Patrol enlists Hoppy, California, and Johnny to help investigate the disappearance of Mexican laborers who went across the border to work in the mines of the town of Silver Bullet. The Commandant's daughter Inez is especially concerned because her sweetheart Enrique is among the missing. When they arrive, the town's corrupt sheriff, who also serves as hanging judge, immediately has them arrested and tried for horse-stealing and murder. He is even able to convince Inez to testify against the trio. After they are found guilty and sentenced to hang, Inez discovers the truth.—Gabe Taverney (duke1029@aol.com)
