Lucille Ball borrows one of Samuel Goldwyn's malapropisms when she says, "Include me out!" after Keenan Wynn tries to convince her to have a sham wedding with Van Johnson.
"Lux Radio Theater" broadcast a 60-minute radio adaptation of the movie on February 27, 1950 with Van Johnson reprising his film role.
Fidel Castro: Early in the film, at the lower left of the screen, Castro (without the beard) is seen as a poolside spectator with a drink in front of him. The dictator-to-be did some work as an extra for MGM before becoming fully active in politics.
