Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Violence & Gore

  • Discussion about a woman being buried alive for several days, only to die after being rescued.
  • Discussion of medical malpractice which led to death, but not in much detail.
  • A prominent fistfight between two characters, but it's fairly tame. (Another character is actually laughing at them.)
  • Two men are crushed by a falling building (offscreen). A woman is murdered (again offscreen and her body is later shown). A woman laughs hysterically and is then slapped. A woman is almost killed by asphyxiation. A woman is killed by taking pills.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • As a hospital with relatively realistic equipment, there is a scene with a hypodermic needle and another showing tablets.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • A woman is shown asleep but being gassed. Despite the black & white film, it is clear that her asphyxiation is affecting her, her coloring, etc.
  • The climax in an operating room may be a bit much for some viewers, especially those afraid of doctors and hospitals.
