Mrs Huggett who had been soaking wet seconds earlier gets in the house and apart from a few drops on the shoulders of her coat she's bone dry.
At the start of the film Mrs Huggett comes back from shopping in the pouring rain, gets to her front door and there's a strong shadow of her on the front door caused by the film arc lights.
When the Algerian Detective Peter Illing questions the Jeweller Meinhart Maur about the man selling diamonds, the jeweller states the man was over six feet. The detective says that means he was five feet ten. At the time the film was made, Algeria was under French rule and the man's height should have been stated under the metric system and not in English units.
When confronted by the French customs officer Bob does not understand the language and says he is a Canadian citizen. Most Canadians at least understand French since it is the joint language in Canada.
