The gowns used in the film were owned by Kenneth Anger's grandmother who had been a costume designer in the silent film era.
Shot in the home of Samson De Brier, a silent film actor, who would later appear in Kenneth Anger's Inauguration of the Pleasure Dome (1954).
This film was released in France in 1973 as part of a program called "Cinéma Underground".
