Plot Summary

When Bugs finds out that the bounty for rabbits is only two cents, he asks the bounty commissioner why. He's told that the bounty is so low because rabbits are harmless animals. Bugs decides to change that by being a national menace. Written by Ondre Lombard

Senator Claghorn inspired Foghorn Leghorn, and to some degree, Yosemite Sam. See more »
Goofs The Army fires artillery shells at Bugs, which stick in the ground as they surround him in a hole. BUT the shells are still in their casings. When a shell is fired, it leaves its casing behind in the gun, which is then ejected by the gun crew, and a new round is put in the gun. The casing does NOT go with the shell when it is fired.
