Edit
Trivia Filmed between November 22 and mid-December 1948, the movie was held back three years until its Manhattan opening at the Paramount Theatre on December 25, 1951. The delay prompted Groucho Marx to write a letter to Howard Hughes in January, 1951 asking for the film to be released because Groucho had not seen it himself. The letter is included in Groucho's book "The Groucho Letters." See more »
Goofs Near the beginning of the film, Emile leaves the water pitcher on the table with Mildred and Johnny and walks away. After a couple shots back and forth, the water pitcher disappears from the table and has moved to a side table behind the couple. See more »
