Gary Cooper movies on TCM: Cooper at his best and at his weakest Gary Cooper is Turner Classic Movies' “Summer Under the Stars” star today, Aug. 30, '15. The film is a tad overlong and, like every Frank Capra movie, it's also highly sentimental. What saves it from the Hell of Good Intentions is the acting of the two leads – Cooper and Arthur are both excellent – and of several supporting players. Ant & Dec have revealed that they are in early talks about taking their hit ITV entertainment show Saturday Night Takeaway to the Us.
The duo's fortunes are currently booming in the UK with Takeaway's tenth series surging in the ratings and yet another victory at the National Television Awards.
The pairing also look likely to secure their first ever No.1 record with their '90s record 'Let's Get Ready To Rhumble' on course for the top spot this weekend after a comedy performance of the track on Takeaway.
Ant & Dec previously attempted to break America in 2009 when they launched the gameshow Wanna Bet? on ABC. However, the show was cancelled after six episodes due to poor ratings.
Speaking about a possible return to the Us with Takeaway, Dec told Daybreak: "There's murmurings and there's talk about [the Us] and obviously it's done so well here. There's only two left of the current run here,...

For the past month "Cougar Town" co-creator and executive producer Bill Lawrence has been waging a social media campaign to promote his ABC comedy, with little help from the network.
But it's been a bit of an upward battle. "Cougar Town" was completely left off ABC's fall schedule, had its episode order cut to 15 from 22 and only recently received a premiere date after the heavily maligned midseason comedy “Work It" was cancelled.
"The show was getting jerked around by ABC, and we knew that in the modern era of television, promoting your show is not only the network's job, but it's your job as a showrunner," Lawrence told HuffPost TV. "So we sat there, in the writers room, and decided as a cast, that if this show ended up going away after this year, we would all regret it if we didn't try our best. No one had ever tried this,...
