Plot Summary

After landing a job singing on the radio, Jane Froman marries musical accompanist Don Ross. Under Don's management, she rises to stardom and is invited to perform for the troops during World War II. En route, her plane goes down, leaving her with serious leg injuries. While on the mend, she begins a romance with John Burn, a wounded military pilot. She intends to return to singing, but with two men in her heart, life is ever more complicated. Written by Jwelch5742

The big question on all our minds was... would the audience take her this way? More important still, could she stand the gaff?
