When Tiny Brauer comes back with his henchmen, Tiny grabs Shemp and questions him about the piece of paper left in his jacket. When Shemp answers referring to the letters LRLRL the expression on Shemp's face is an exact copy of Lou Costello's facial expression. Shemp knew Lou Costello very well and work on a couple of the Abbot and Costello's movies. Check it out. When Shemp says the words."never heard of em" referring to the combination numbers on the safe. That is pure Lou Costello. All Abbot and Costello followers will pick this up. See if you agree.
Most of this film is comprised of stock footage from "Sing a Song of Six-Pants" (1947).
Production number 4201.
