Walking through a grave yard at night carrying a lantern John falls down a hole into an undergound cavern. As he shines the lantern around with the light shining in front of him his shadow is cast in some shots , his face well lit in others and the cave behind him lit.
On a stagecoach Stewart Granger orders the coachman to stop but when his attention is distracted the coachman attempts to leap on him and is clubbed down and as he collapses the camera switches to George Sanders who draws a sword stick and stabs Stewart in the back. The camera then gives a longish shot of Stewart dropping to his knees but there's no sign of the coachman.
After being put into a rowing boat to be taken out to a ship John jumps overboard and swims back to the beach where the front of his hair appears wet but the rest of him including his clothes are dry.
Right at the beginning of the film, when the little boy comes to, there's a shot where we can see the people surrounding him (as seen by the boy). But judging by the boy's place on the table in the next shot, he should be looking at the people upside down.
