Nothing exceptional
tomalmy29 May 2008
What made this program memorable, to a 7-year-old at the time, was that we just got a color TV and this was one of the few shows at the time broadcast in color. I remember other color shows at the time quite well, but really little about this one other than we watched it every week.

I don't remember this show having the clipped dialog of other Jack Webb productions. That it was set in a veterinarian's office made it interesting and different. I did miss it when it went off the air, and wondered why. Probably not enough people with color TV sets.

There was something exciting about that "Mark VII" stamp at the end of the show being done in color, while having to see it in black in white on Dragnet!

Looking for the title song

As with the previous reviewer, the show was nothing exceptional as I recall (rather heartwarming, as an animal-centric show would be, but then again I was only 10 when it aired). However, I loved its theme song, sung a capella by The Hi-Los, and wonder if it still exists, either as a commercially available track or dubbed from the soundtrack. If so, I would welcome an mp3 file or information on how to obtain the recording.
