Mindblowing animation and art form.

Laughter, cheers and absolute silence at the Anglais movie theatre on Boxing Day 1956, for the premiere of "Kalle Stropp, Grodan Boll och deras vänner". This was something else! Never before had Swedish kids and their parents experienced a homemade adventure like this. The popular radio show (1949 - ) now on the silver screen. Created, animated and directed by The Funck brothers, Thomas and Hasse. The two met the expected insoluble technical problems with a mix of drawings, puppets and actors. Not only was this film great fun, it added fragments of different art forms to the experience. German expressionism, dadaism, modern dance, soundscapes...
